I sent the golf to try and pass the MOT, didn't go so well... I had not high hopes but it did not go that bad! So in this episode i fix all the point it failed at! After sitting for 3 years, it's finally road worthy!
You’re either the best or luckiest mechanic ever. To remove all those rusty parts, and nothing broke ? Incredible ! Great job, and video. Thanks, RickGTI….. 🇺🇸🌴
So funny to hear all the differences in rules for vehicle inspections. Here in the US, where they try to convince us how much the government cares about us, most every state has some sort of emissions inspections. Several states have NO safety inspections. Even in New York State (where I live) we have safety and emissions, but for safety brakes have to be metal on metal, or have pieces missing from parts to fail, suspension bushings can be completely separated and they don’t fail, ball joints have to be physically broken to fail, it’s completely ridiculous. Sorry, I am a VW tech and I loved watching this car being built. Good work!
Bro Just found your channel now and sub... In my opinion when you are reviving a car and removing parts like that rear axle, just clean it and give it a spray paint at least. New Rubbers but still looking old. Great Video by the way.
