- On a whim Australian @blessupjess quit her job and booked a ticket to Jamaica. She landed in Negril but has spent the last couple of years exploring the island.
Moving over 10,000 miles to another country can be a scary and lonely thing to do but according to Jess:
"it's hard to feel alone in Jamaica because everyone is so friendly, welcoming and warm."

when she mentioned downtown, I believe her comparison of Australia and Jamaica was due to her wholesale shopping experience. Because the wholesales don't usually have a line system, when say comparing to a pharmacy which would be more orderly.

Jess ! You must visit Portland on your next visit. Ocho Rios a must but it’s very much a tourist town. I am from Port Antonio the capital of Portland.
