2:50 NO WAY!!!!! IT'S A *LEFT* TURN!
Charles Randolph lol
OMGGGGGG
Idk if it has 2 tracks like Disney World but it could have been a different track if that's the case.
Purple Wolfshadow14 omg no way
Omg it doesn’t feel like there is any left turn at all
Its fun riding on it when you have no idea what's going on. Now, I shall memorize every turn! MUAHAHAHAHA
Left left right right left right right right right right right right right right right right left OVER.
***** Much appreciated!
Never been on, Is it fun? Going next summer. I live in florida so xD
Harry Potter Fangirl It's very fun!
Harry Potter Fangirl It's worth the wait, no drops at all! Just really fast turns that you can barely feel in your stomach- unlike California Screamin'
I hope you like turning to the right, cuz this ride does that alot.
Lol
To the right to the right! Everything I own in a box to the right! (Oh wait, wrong lyrics XD)
backwards NASCAR
I still remember near the end of the ride, it was relentlessly going right and right and right and right.....

I hope you like whiplash, cuz' amusement rides are full of it and they give it to you.
It may not be the fastest, tallest, or have any loops, but this rollercoaster is special in so many other ways, and it brings tears to my eyes watching this thing in action.
There is way more coasters with none of those that are better than this and some with those things.
@@IMWBMEGJCC Ok elitist lol.
My cousin and I went on this last year. Halfway through the ride, the lights turned on and it stopped moving. We were sitting there for about twenty minutes before they had to unlock the seats and pull us out. We were given some line-jump passes because of this but never got to use them since it was our last day there. I've still got them as a weird souvenir. :)
Same thing happened to be back when I was four years old. It's caused me to have a fear of being underground/in tunnels haha
gimme
Little Mixer CAN I HAVE THEM?
2:04 There's the old PeopleMover windows.
what are those
what the-that’s creepy. imagine someone watching there
no doubt! now THAT'S the disneyland i remember and love.
Oh yeah never saw that before you pointed it out

I’ve ridden dozens of coasters, and even though you pretty much just turn right in this ride i absolutely love it. The sense of not knowing where you going along with the theming in the queue and up the list hills, the soundtrack and the vibe….I absolutely love it

Willby Hudson where is the small drop...after which turn?
Should've also counted the mcbrs (mid course break runs)
bruh
Who in their right mind approved this track layout? 🙃
@@gregoryporco1181 They did that so it could fit in a small space as Disneyland’s Tommorowland didn’t and still doesn’t have enough space to fit something super large like this. (I guess they could get rid of Autopia or something though)
Hands down the best night vision video I have seen of this ride, nice going!
Agreed
Andie Bunker yea
Hands up!
It’s pretty bright. Is night vision needed? There is also color in the original. What does
years ago my cousin and I got on & at the very beginning of the ride as it starts out going up we started out only heard a few clicks and the ride got stuck. We waited about a half hour and they eventually fixed it but we had to ride the the entire ride with all the lights on...it made the ride ten times more intense then the usual ride with all the flashing lights from the dark....because we saw ALL THE BARS AND FRAMES YOU LITERALLY FELT LIKE YOUR HEAD WAS GOING TO BE CHOPPED OFF OR STRAIGHT RUN INTO THE WALLS. I LOVE Space Mountain to begin with but it actually was amazing how much more scarier it was with all the lights on.
Yeah I agree. The bars above you are so damn close. My aunt says she always is afraid shes going to hit her head so she keeps her head tilted down
Always wanted to do that
Did you read about how someone stood up and was killed instantly? His head was chopped off.
I've been on three Space Mountains (Orlando, Anaheim, Paris) and the thing I appreciate the most about them (besides the theming) is the incredible architecture of the rides. The engineers designed these rides with very little space (pardon the pun) and created tracks where it looks like you're going to get your head or hands chopped off. Seeing how tight the structure is makes it all the more amazing that they got such an iconic ride built.
I hate roller coasters, but I'm going to Disneyland with my friend for Christmas, and she really wants me to go on Space Mountain with her. I think I want to, since it doesn't look too bad. But I haven't been on a roller coaster of any sort for about 3 or 4 years, so would this ride be okay? Or too intense? (I don't really have a problem with the speed/turns. I just hate drops, and the fact that it's super dark bothers me a little)
thats how i used to be..but this ride is dissapointing :/
Was it scary???
a little
Hey! Looks like I'll have a friend! I'm going for Christmas too! And I've been to space mountain. It's not scary and it's pretty darn fun! I recommend you look up and go on the Matterhorn too!
i wish i could go for christmas ;(
One masterpiece of a theme park ride! Love the music that goes with this! As a kid... I went into hysterical mode... like freak out. I was shaking like a leaf when I got off. It is that almost perfect darkness and all those twisting turns.
One of my favorite rides. It was my first roller coaster; before then, I had a severe fear of them. This one was perfect for me.
This ride is soooooooooooooooooooooo fun it's only 35 mph but it feels faster than that.
Aldc Stars yep because of fans and darkness
Disneyland's only goes 32 MPH. WDW's goes 28 MPH.
There are fans
I am BEYOND grateful for this video! I’ve been to Disney so many times but I’ve never gone on this. I’ve always been a fan of roller coasters, but after riding the mummy at universal, I’ve been terrified of them! It made my whole body hurt in ways I can’t explain. I hate drops because I almost slipped out of the Jurassic Park ride because I’m so tiny! Watching this has eased my nerves!
In the beginning, I was like, I can do this. By the end, heck no.
Zynobia same. This ride made me sick afterwards
I thought this ride would do a loop because my cousin kept telling me it did
I felt the opposite actually
You guys are pussies
It's too bad they didn't make it look like you were flying through space, like past planets, and stars, around asteriods etc...
It's JUST stars actually, except for ghost galaxy and hyperspace
I went to the one in Paris and it actually was exactly like that
Was it star wars
Hellacia yup
@@hellacia8151 no thank-you meow meow. I might vomit
2:25 the drop always gets me
My mom tricked me into doing this when i was 7😂 You should've seen the aftermath pics😂😂😂The person running the ride asked if i needed medical help💀💀💀
IM 2 YEARS LATE BUT SAAMEE EXCEPT IT WAS MY DAD
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
3 years late but in 2016 my mom tricked me into going on space mountain too and I was so scared once I got on but it was so fun at the same time
be smart but in France there are 3 looping
@@adriannaavilez604 bruh it doesn't even feel like i commented that 4 years ago wtf
Thank you for filming this with night vision. I've had Brain Surgeries when I was younger so I was never able to ride this ride and always wanted to know what the experience was that my family had while on it. Thanks again...looks pretty fun
One of my personal favorites! I've always wondered what it looked like in night vision! Yet again, now that I've seen it, I know a little more of what to expect the next time I ride it!
We can't wait to ride!
wow
Space mountains my favorite and first rollercoaster ride i've been on. Since first time I rode it back in 1978. Im 43 now still enjoy it along with my wife , kids they love it too. Matter fact were goin this june 2014 , space mountain be the first ride we go on . Lots of family memorys there at disneyland , space mountain .
I now feel bad for blowing it off and saying "we got better things to ride." Dam screw me.
How dare you...... :(
What did he say wrong?
ChickenFingers451 I'm saying how dare his past self for doing that. That's what.
Even if you want to do other rides like Big Thunder Mountain or the Matterhorn, ALWAYS DO SPACE MOUNTAIN FIRST. It has long ass lines for a REASON!!
Idiot
1:56 Look how low that overhead track is!
That’s why they tell you not to put your hands up lol
My hands were up, but nothing happened.
That's a little drop, so you are actually pretty low when under it
During the ride I saw that rail and was like “Nope. Not putting my hands up”
It’s not that low. It just looks like it. I kept my hands up the whole time and they’re still attached to my body.
THIS RIDE IS NOW MY FAV!!!!!!! Thank you❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for watching and 'Liking' our videos! :) We're glad you enjoyed it.
Just saw this! Thank you for the upload. I rode Space Mountain just last week and was so curious what the track really looked like, because it was so dark. I didnt know what was going on or where we were heading while in there kkk. All I know is the adrenaline rush because of its speed and twists and turns in the midst of the darkness and galaxy-ish sounds.
Thank you so much for sharing. I'm 34 yrs. old..and cried on my last coaster ride here in PA. Hershey has a wooden coaster, no loops, etc. but for some reason I just didn't like it. At all. I used to ride upside down R.C.'s back when I was young so I don't know what happened! Maybe too many yrs passed, and I just can't handle that anymore.
I always wondered what Space Mtn. would be like (never been to Disney) and now seeing it's not upside down I know I'd be fine if I ever get to go. So thank you for sharing. It helps A LOT to see what you're in for ahead of time ; )
It's 35 mph. They blow wind in your face so it feels like your going faster. The ride is dark with stars and loud sounds. The seats are comfortable. There are also lapbars that are adjustable
Awesome! I went on it when it first came out as a junior high school student! At first, it was terrifying because you couldn't see anything. Now I laugh at it! Great job filming it in the dark!
Best ride at the park, my kids 6 and 8 loved it! Trip of a life time for us aussies. A must do for all parents..
Seriously, someone needs to do the same thing but with Space Mountain Mission 2!
FANTASTIC with night vision goggles.
OMFG! THIS IS AMAZING! Thank you for doing it in night vision! i've always wanted to see what was happening inside space mountain! haha... the gravity felt extreme! LOL .. i just went there to Disneyland 3 days ago and it was awesome! The line for Space Mountain was just so ridiculously long but it was worth the wait ... and the picture thing was annoying af! haha
Yesss. Finally a space Mountain video which is actually in nightvision!
I love you so much for doing this ride in night vision!!! What time of year did you go?
I went in July although my preferred time to visit is September and October when the crowds are much less. :) When was your last trip to Disneyland?
Last year the first weekend of October! I am going again this year at the end of August!!! I'm so excited!
+ThemeParkHD yay I'm going in September
+ThemeParkHD So it doest not have any loopings or anything that you makes you go upside down or anything like that? because I try to avoid rides like that. Call me a chicken but the idea of hanging upside down or doing a loop just gives me a fear for heartheaattacks and throwin up.
+Thundasius you basically go up and down and you turn left and right. There are no loops, I've been on that ride and i have the same fear. Also, in the ride, you can't see anything except little lights, it's pitch black.
One time one of our family members fainted on this. Disneyland: where dreams come true.
They prob fainted because it went over a point where you hit 4 g's
This is the absolute best ride I have and will ever ride!
How can I forget this ride? 2012 memories. ❤
*projectile vomit*
_Let's do it again_
this would be awesome if they turned the cars backwards
That wouldn't make any sense, though.
A liability if someone got hurt they would get sued.
Leonardo Bruzzone u should ride “the mummy” from universal studios. I think you’ll really like that one :p
Aaron Gutierrez omg Yesss love that ride!
Great video! Clearest night vision pov I've seen.
I’m going to Disneyland for spring break and I’m going on this so I was freaking out and scared to go on this ride but when I watched this it really calmed me down, thank you 😊
I rode this ride when I was like 9 and I was so scared! Was praying to God through this xD I think if I went now I would enjoy it
My 9 year old thought he was going to fall out.
I went on this ride in February of 2013 when I was 10, and I was crying the whole time. I wish I could go on it again, but I live in Australia. ☹️☹️
Not A Peasant Same I was crying too when I went on this ride but after seeing this video, it doesn't seem that bad at all 😂
This is the best video I've ever soon of Space Mountain. It's my favorite ride is the entire UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!
Excellent video. I remember me and my mother first riding this when I was eight. We were both terrified. Not I'm a coaster junkie. :-) I still think the Disney World version is more intense.
0:59 Am I the only one who hears the Medic's medigun from Team Fortress 2?
yep thats definately a medigun
Lol yep
3:33, anybody else see mangle from fnaf?
Thank you for telling me sir
***** It's a troll. Don't feed it.
This ride scares the shit outta me
Best Space Mountain POV ever!!!! All the other ones are just darkness, even though they claim to have night vision
Just went to Cali a few weeks ago and this was my favorite ride at Disneyland!!
I’m always hunched over on this ride because I feel like My head is going to bang on something 😂
You don’t think that when they make these rides they know to put all the bars far away you dumb bitch.
@@PsychotiX1022 calm down loser

This is really neat I liked this Night Vision POV of Space Mountain.
Did you know Space mountain has scariest ghost in the ride but you are lucky that you did not see the ghost it’s not a bad thing I mean you can see it on Night vision some times
Catdomino 0 um what the hell did you even say?
Catdomino 0 u drunk m8?
Seems like Space Mountain is similar to Big Thunder Mountain and Matterhorn because it doesn't have any big drops or loops. Therefore, it probably isn't as bad as I thought.
Matterhorn is the first Indoor Roller Coaster too.
Zomg, I loved that ride. Thanks for the wicked night vision version!!!!!!
you have the best nightvision povs on youtube!
Ah, Space Mountain! It's one of like four real rides in Disneyland. :3
Vengeful Spirit what other ones do you like? if you like tower of terror, u should check out my POV
The only thing I liked about this was almost at the end when it went faster and faster but overall I didn't really enjoy this due to the fact that it was so dark and you didn't know where you were going so it might hurt your neck a little when it turns suddenly (it's full of turns and no drops)
You can't lean into the turns
i want to thank you so much i had been terrified of this ride for years but after watching this video i went on it now it's my favorite ride next to splash
I went on this ride yesterday, IT’S AMAZING!
kinda sucks how it's all right hand turns, since you know what to expect
There are left turns

0:32 someone needs to shut that girl up😂😂😂
This is awesome. Thanks for sharing!
Lol, I love how there are people screaming when the ride starts XD I went on space mountain 2 at Paris, and it was AMAZING! :D I also had a waffle :3
I'm French and seriously, Space Mountain in Paris is more more better
Shy yeah in florida this ride SUCKS ours is SO FuN!!
Seriously? Guys Floridas main advantage is simple it is far from boring or rough Mission two is rather rough & boring.

Wow...that is some amazing nightvision!
I am afraid of riding it, but here I can watch and enjoy! Cool!
Hated it because I didn't wear my glasses and when they showed the stars and played dramatic music (around 1:20,) I saw blobs of white. And the drop wasn't exciting either.
I used to take off my glasses. I don't anymore. It's *way* better with them on. Try it that way sometime.
Yeah, I took off my glasses too. The darkness aspect doesn't scare me much since I'm pretty much blind on all roller coasters anyway.
This is not 30 or 35 mph, maybe Disney say this so you can feel safer during the ride
Definitely not. I had a panic attack on that ride (something about the pitch blackness and speed set me off!) and I've been on rides much faster than 30 mph and had no issues.
I did too but my family thought that I was crazy for saying that the ride is really fast
Dreyness either way it's very thrilling
CaptainXtreme1 it's so fun.
CaptainXtreme1 I'm fairly certain that it was sped up when they made it hyperspace mountain
Honestly one of my worst nightmares is getting on a ride that’s too dark to see inside and it ending up being a roller coaster so thank god for videos like these so I know which rides to avoid
Thanks ill know what to expect.
右カーブ、多いですね😅(笑)
夢の国が台無しだぜ。
There is finally a good night vision video yay.
the other vids iv seen on youtube dont have REAL nightvision!!!
THIS is quality!
Disneyland's version makes me dizzy. It needs more changes in direction as opposed to straight, turn right, straight turn right. The whole time I was screaming for it to turn left so I didn't get sick.
It's perfect just the way it is! If there were any changes then it wouldn't be the Space I love so much!
u know its illegal what u ddid
people should have more rights than corporations. Video taping your vacation shouldn't have any legal ramifications
They let you film the rides in Disneyland.
hahahahahaha!!!!!! Dat sum funny chit right dare
Joe Foster they let you record..
THIS IS AMAZING BEST NIGHT VISION EVER!
Interesting to note how the Pre-2005 track can still be seen before and after the star field portion of the ride.
Where in the video timeline can you see that?
@@pinball541Sorry for the late reply. The new track starts at about 1:35 and ends at about 2:54.
magic kingdoms is much better than that
I've been on both and Disneylands is better. In the dark, the turns feel much faster and tighter. This one is also very smooth.
still magic kingdoms is better cause I like Florida
dj kane Haha great reasonable response. both are amazing :)
Hm yeah
hmmmmm
this ride sure is overrated
Nice Video best night vision POV of Space mountain i ever seen.
space mountain was my first rollercoaster. probably rode when I was 4 or 5. not gonna lie, I didn't even know it was a rollercoaster when I went on, so I was crying by the end... but I realised how fun it was and went on it again and again
Thanks for posting! I enjoy thrill rides, but while I like going fast, spinning, etc. I really don't like long drops, and this gives me a sense of how long the drops are (which... it seems like there really aren't any notable drops at all!).
So this is what the ride looks like without the darkness, nice.
my family just visited in March of 2017 my two daughters both 4 and 9 loved it. pretty cool ride I taught what did I get myself into😂
Love this ride always makes me happy
