Great stuff, I thought the rain added an ambient hue to the proceeding which was pleasant. Lay back and groove on a rainy day.

That's a really nice sound! Really great recording amps too... my first band recorded quite a few of our guitar sounds through a nice vintage one the studio had.
Dig your riffing too Dave, rock on!

In today’s world of modellers and capturing, it’s easy to forget what a real amp actually sounds like. Thanks for posting!

I'm sitting here watching your video with my "real" Fender Twin reverb amplifier from the 60's a few feet away.
I can't argue about the tone your getting, it sounds great. I could never turn mine up to those numbers without rattling the fillings in my teeth!
The only amplifier I have that's better is my large Vox AC100 that's the same vintage. It kicks ass for tone and it will shake your bones a block away.

I recently bought the ‘68 Deluxe. I paired it with an inexpensive Bugera Power Soak and that lets me turn the amp volume to whatever I want and still play at tv volumes.

@@CentaurusRelax314 I've got an old Rockman power soak that's great for heating the house when hooked up but I never use it.

@@tenlittleindians I’m not familiar with those. I assume it’s one of the powered, active types? The Bugera is passive, with no power needed. I haven’t noticed any heat. And it’s like $110…. I just leave it connected and don’t even think about it. I had read that some people experience a small tone change when using them-loss of highs?-but I can’t tell the difference with the ‘68 Deluxe. Very glad i bought it-makes the full volume range on the amp’s knob usable and not at all jumpy with sudden volume changes.

@@CentaurusRelax314 Mine is full of ceramic resistors. The switch on the front controls how many resistors are engaged to soak up the energy. The resistors give off this energy as heat. The outer case is full of holes to dissipate the heat.
A super simple device and I see they are getting expensive considering what's inside these devices.
