Reeeeeeaaaaaaaally? That's super cool, since Bill would then technically reprise the role in Spectacular Spider-Man - despite him never actually becoming Hydro Man.
Rodger also did one of the narrators in the MIB preshow next door. And Chris Edgerly, the voice of both Spider-Man AND J. Jonah Jameson, is also the voice of the Wormy Guy animatronic in the MIB preshow, and the shadow gag in the exit.
The perspective shifting is such a simple but convincing effect. It’s crazy how ahead of its time this ride was. I can’t recall even Disney correcting perspective on any ride screens until mission breakout in 2017

So he lets go of us, and he flies backwards. I have been on this ride dozens of times and I never grasped that. I feel so…complete.

The CGI from the current iteration of the ride is really good, but I absolutely love the look of retro CGI. This looks right out of an FMV cutscene for an old video game. Thank you for sharing this!

Went to this ride as a kid in 2001 with my family in orlando, one of the happiest days of my life, I didn't know this was lost media nor that it would be available to see it outside the park, this unlocked so many core memories within me that I forgot I had related to that moment in time, wish my family and I could be together again.
Until I get access to those files somehow sadly not. I acquired these off of a portfolio DVD the animation studio “Kleiser-Walczak Construction Co.” released back in 2004 on their website. I’m now in possession of the only known copy

It's interesting to see how the designs have changed from being carbon copies of the Animated Series into its own thing.
Most of the designs are basically the same except for ock and spidey. Ock is wearing his green and yellow comic costume with a trench coat over it now, and spidey is like a mish mash of Web of Shadows and the Raimi films.
The enhanced designs are like a mixture between the 90s Cartoon and the Sam Raimi Film Universe
