Go on Gazza, what a brilliant free kick, the game doesn't have characters like Paul Gascoigne anymore,he would play kick about with the kids in the street on his way to training or a match,if his manager found out he would go ballistic,"you could have got injured". He's a genuine, generous soul, aswell as being a genius with the ball. When Gazza was in the side for England,we got to a world semi final in Italy '90, only to be knocked out by the Germans on penalties, and again in euro '96,we reached the semi finals again, and again we get knocked out by Germany on penalties, but we were the better side in euro '96 and should really have won that tournament. Gazza was magic, the goal against Scotland, amazing,he was pulling the strings from midfield, for Shearer and Sheringham to get their goals. Gazza was one of a kind on the football pitch, you always hear pundits and commentators saying "could we have the next Paul Gascoigne on our hands" or "England needs another Paul Gascoigne in that position". Here's to you Gazza, I hope you live a long and contented life. You've brought so much happiness to so many people,I know everyone in the football world loves him, and even people who don't watch football, know who Gazza is,a true genius legend.

Seaman always tried to make it look a better save than it was and it usually didnt end up well , he should have easily saved Ronaldinho’s lob but he tried to make it look more spectacular , same here , a regulation save he tried to make look harder

R.I.P. Terry Venables. A great manager who shouldn't have been "let go" as England manager. Let his players express themselves with confidence. My favourite memory of him is his reaction to this amazing goal.

It's amazing how cleanly he struck the ball from the floor. It made the same sound as a crisp volley. That's some skill.

Best player in the world at that time and the rest of the world knew it.
Please, please stop the English media putting Grealish, Foden and Bellingham on this man’s level because they are not in the same stratosphere.
Gascoigne playing in that Real Madrid side now if he was 23 again would rule the world.

Great keeper of his day, like Shilton...but look at the lack of agility compared to modern day keepers such as Pickford. Watch Germany's goal in the 1990 semi final and tell me I'm wrong.

you can watch Ronaldihno's goal in 2002, same thing. I never rated Seaman too highly tbh, modern or not
