The Jurassic Park movies have a knack for turning dinosaurs into great movie villains. Jurassic Park and The Lost World gave us T-Rex and Velociraptor, of course, while Jurassic World 3 took us outside of the box with Pterodactyls. Jurassic World and Jurassic World 2 then just started making up their own hybrids of T-Rexes and Velociraptors, presumably because the filmmakers believed no other dinos could match the ferociousness of those two. Well, they were wrong.
We've found 29 less well-known dinosaurs that were just as terrifying -- or at least as memorable -- as the dino villains we've come to know and love from the movies. We'd even bet that some of these reptile tyrants would have made better villains than the Indoraptor from Jurassic World 2. (Seriously, it wasn't THAT smart if it didn't understand how glass worked.)
However, please know that you have been warned: Some of these dinosaurs might give you nightmares. Just imagine being the kid from Lost World who wakes up to find a T-Rex in his backyard ... only instead of a T-Rex, it's one of these guys and gals. Yikes! On the other hand, one of these reptiles might turn out to be your actual spirit dinosaur. We don't know your life.
