Nice ride. I used to have a 87 iroc 383 with 5spd miss that car.
i ahve a 305 in my 89 rs... should i swap it to a 350????
A lot of things must be considered, does your car still have the TPI setup or has it been swapped to a noncomputer HEI and Carb setup? Not to mention if the car is a number matching car, it'll be worth more some day with the original engine package.

What was the set up on the 383? Did you use the TPI or did you go carb?
I used a Holley 750 CFM vacuum secondary carb and an HEI distributor with an advance curve kit in it; worked great and pulled very hard.
How did you run your exhaust? 1 into 1. Or 1 into 1 with dummy pipe?
I'm running long tube headers, into true dual exhaust that dumps just before the rear diff.
Is this a blueprint 383? Or this one makes more power?
This is the Blueprint 430 hp 383, I have since swaped in a 454 small block Chevy; the 383 is now going in my '62 C10 build.
