- Dylan and I randomized our starter pokemon in Scarlet and Violet but theres a twist! We wont be able to see our starters! We will be choosing our starters by how chat gpt ai describes them! A los of shinies in every round and they just noticed metagross
They had so many shiny pokemon but only noticed 1 (the shinys they missed were munchlax, shellos, hippowdon, blissy, and frigibax, and the other one was the metagross)
They would not make great shiny hunters after this video. Though tbf, metagross and munchlax are the only ones that are immediately noticeable to people who aren’t too familiar with shinies. (They still missed the munchlax tho)

ChatGPT is updated up to January 2022. It doesnt know any gen 9 pokemon, thats why it thought wugtrio was dodrio
Maybe in the future use "poorly describe" instead of bad so it doesnt confuse the AI.

It didn’t know wugtrio because its knowledge isn’t up to date, it only goes until 2021

Based on these descriptions, probably should've told ChatGPT to give rather vague descriptions instead of 'bad' descriptions which it interpreted as 'mean' descriptions lol; although do keep in mind that these are poket "monsters" with heavy quotes 😅😅😅 also you can't guarantee it knows all of the new mons because it probably hasn't had its database fully updated yet 😂😂

You can clearly tell that Dylan and Tobin both used completely different prompts for their ChatGPT as Dylan's ones are all good, helpful descriptions of Pokemon while Tobin's are all extremely ruthless roasts...

Note to editor: if yall do this style of choosing again, please show a snapshot of the pokemon chatgpt is trying to describe after the sentence. I kept forwarding and rewinding to see what each sentence was trying to describe.

Mmm...I'd rather not see more of this format. Those roasts were astonishing at first, but after the halfway mark, it was clear that the A.I. had no creativity behind it; every roast started to feel the same, mundane and draining.
...also, Urshifu is very powerful.
I feel like they actually gave slightly different prompts to ChatGPT, because each one had all their roasts have exactly the same format. Also, I don’t know how they did it, because I tried it and didn’t get the exact same sentence format every time.

I agree. Even setting aside my personal moral aversion to generative A.I., the results in this video would riff on many of the same roasts and attributes, making it less entertaining to me as it went on, until the battle. This is not to criticize other facets of the video, just the implementation of A.I. "Horribly described starters" is not a poor concept in itself. I only prefer it come from their own heads.
