Thanks for posting this. It took me back to when I was a child in Belfast back in the 1960's and we sang both these songs out in the street.
Just to clear up any confusion; Tommy is singing two separate songs; the first one is called 'My Aunt Jane' and then he moves on to 'I'll Tell Me Ma'.
    Thanks for the memories.

I've never heard this version. The ones I have heard Are" "The Belle O Belfast" " The Belle o Dublin City" AND over here in Scotland The belle o the Windy city" The Windy city being Edinburgh

My Aunt Jane she called me in, she gave me tea out of her wee tin
Half a bap, a wee snow top, three honey balls out of her wee shop
Half a bap, a wee snow top, three honey balls out of her wee shop
My Aunt Jane she's awful smart, she baked three rings and an apple tart
And when Halloween comes round, for next that tart I'm always found

This is wonderful! I wonder when it was recorded? Tommy & Jimmy Sweeney both look older now...
I've always heard The Belle of Belfast City - both here in Nova Scotia and in Ireland.

Every time I see Tom Sweeney, I think of Rory Makem. Can definitely see the family resemblance in the cousins, huh?

My Aunt Jane she can dance a jig, sing a ballad for a sweety pig
Wee red eyes and a cord for a tail, hanging in a bunch from a farthing nail
Wee red eyes and a cord for a tail, hanging in a bunch from a farthing nail
My Aunt Jane has a bell on the door, a white stone step and a clean swept floor
Candy apples, hard green pears, conversation lozenges
