- In this video I share with you my plan to hike the Ireland Way. This is notably my most ambitious hike to date. After flying from San Francisco, California, USA to Dublin, Ireland, catching two buses from Dublin to Cork, I finally arrive in the beautiful port town of Castletownbere to begin my hike of the Ireland Way.

Me and my wife, who is Irish , spent the whole month of July in Ireland. Two weeks in the Canamara area in the west coast and two weeks in Donegal. Love your channel and thanks for sharing your adventures.

Seeing this trip makes me remember several visits to Ireland N + S , Dublin, Cavan, Navan, Cobh, Waterford on motorbikes in my 30s. 20+ years ago. Look out for midges / mosquitoes in the summer.
Ireland is a beautiful country with even more beautiful people. I’ve already experience the midges. 😳Sláinte
I waited until you were done, Here is Michigan the trees have pretty much dropped their leaves and snow is in the North, coming towards lower Michigan. I figured binge watching you would be a nice thing while the weather outside isn't the best!!!! So sorry if my comments are 2 months late, but I'm still your cheerleader!!!!

I will be following. Did the West Highland Way, Scotland in 2022. I am looking at Ireland in 2024. So I will be following closely to get some ideas. Of course I will follow this. My family came from the Shannon river area (Carroll) and my husband is from a third generation dairy farm outside of Macroom county Cork! I've only been to Ireland twice, but my husband gave me beautiful tours of amazingly beautiful places. The people are beyond kind and I see you have already had a good stout Irish breakfast! Lol Enjoy! I will be watching from KS!! I hear currently it is hot there! Lol I think like 78 or something! Sounds heavenly!!!
