i dont know if ultra black #82180 is concentered an Adhesive.. in the video he used #75150, some of these Permatex Blacks are not Black.. i know the Right Stuff black #25228 is like a dark dark grey with silvery speckles

I have a '98 corvette with similar cracks in the weather stripping and it leaks and makes the carpet under the driver seat wet. Is that where yours was leaking? And how has it held up? Thanks!
@ronishsharma2989 Mine was pretty rough, there were missing pieces and stuff on the targa weather stripping. I used this stuff along with some pieces of foam to build up the missing areas and it's been good. I get a tiny drip when driving if it raining hard, but that's it.
I use permatex but use any black silicone gasket maker and on direct sun it was dry in less than 2 hours and 2 years later that holds super well Thanks for watching

Yeah That fix m'y issue and 2 years later the repair looks good and stay flexible as the moment i turn the video
hey man did you do this to fix your vette? I have a very similar issue with my 91 vette and wanted to know if it works.

Loctite pl roof flashing black urethane is much better. It's like windshield adhesive

@basicdetail4512 thanks im confused we have in our market only hardex black silicone instructions and pictures say for engine etc. Is it the same?
@MrRGM10 yeah the permatex is for the engine too ... worst case do a test on a paper and wait to see if it stay flexible once its dry

Yess silicone is flexible so i think ITs gonna work well
I'd also paper sand this to look better and smooth.
