- Splatoon is a fun game, but some people have fun in unintended ways. One such way is through their splashtag. Select people create some of the most cursed and suspect Splatoon names despite it being regulated by Nintendo. They stretch the limits of what is possible, and that deserves some attention, don't you think? In this video, I check out some of these wacky splashtags posted on the Splatoon Names twitter account. Do I call it a twitter account anymore? Or is it just and x account? That does not sound family-friendly, Elon.

The most odd pair that I've encountered was "Spykesfoot" and "Spykempreg" on, ironically, Splat Zones.

ran into someone called "dilfnipple" in clam blitz and what fustrates me the most out of that encounter was that they were such an amazing teammate and thanks to them, i was able to complete my anarchy series in flying colours 😭

The best way to evade them is to use the same ink as them so they can’t splat you
The weirdest one for me was: Inside me!
And i didn't even realised until i killed her and saw: Splatted: Inside me!
You almost feel like they won despite you splatting them!

then 6 hours later, completely separate match, who else do I see but I eat kids again, this time on my team
even funnier is that we were against a splatlandian youth player who disconnected halfway through the match
Well, I'm no detective, but with my sub-par detective skills, I can reasonably assume that splatlandian youth player was sadly devoured by this monster that is "I eat kids".

There are a lot of funny names in the game, but the encounters I find the funniest is when you see someone you've random matched with in Turf war in the past that you're not friends with or anything, I've had that happen more than a few times where I see someone during one splatfest then again in a different one sometime later.

I hate what they’ve done with the name changing where you do it only once every 30 days. I play as characters from different games all of the time except Splatfest (mostly from Sonic nowadays, but I played as the BotW Champions the most in 2). It’s entirely incomplete/unrecognizable without the right name, though the Splashtags help a little. I don’t want to stick to one character per month, I wish it was at least two weeks 😓 So I just use my own username for everyone

In the Icecream Splatfest, I went up against a team with someone with the name " ifuckgays " but the u and a were replaced with versions of them that have accents.
Accents would perhaps help the detection system (although Nintendo probably doesn't even have one), but people probably inevitably reported it. That one's pretty bad.
Yeah, I normally laugh at these silly names.
But coming across this one made me feel uncomfortable and awkward.
About the Honda Civic, a team named Honda Squidic won Low Ink, a monthly tournament that transitions teams from Low level to mid level competitive.
I saw someone in the splatoon pool im in that was called "toe sucker"
My favourite i have seen was during a splatfest shiver announced that a team won a 333 match and all their names combined created an entire sentence of how they hacked the game and are coming for you

I adore that nintendo dont censor names so you can be called whatever you want. Sure it has some negative sides but at the same time you can come across goofy names like "F*CK YOU" and "war criminal" and "fishy feet" or "I love women" yknow? its great, its fun.
