The middle class was growing. Now, that same middle class has shrunk significantly, rent is way up, cost to buy a home hit an ALL TIME HIGH, the border is wide open, which, by the way, will impact the poorest communities the hardest, we are no longer energy independent, we had relative peace in the middle east, and so on. I get more of a centrist vibe, to be honest. One of his first major assignments as a network reporter was covering Ronald Reagan’s 1980 campaign. A lot of young reporters assigned to travel with a presidential candidate can develop strong positive or negative impressions of a candidate and their campaign depending on how they are treated. Reagan was generally pleasant and cooperative with journalists, so he often got pretty favorable coverage despite being further to the right politically than most reporters.

As a senior who is living on SS as my only source of income I am not in favor of a elected president privatising Medicare. I'm talking about making Medicare Advantage plans mandatory. The major drawback about Medicare Advantage plans are the required fees for medical services: doctors visits x-rays blood work. You name it. The average senior, who is living on NOT ENOUGH, can't afford the fees. I'm also not in favor of a selected vice presidential running mate wanting to privatise Medicare. If Senator Tim Scott is that running mate he wants to make changes to Medicare. He has said he wants to do this. The senior vote should not be taken for granted.

- The first gun reform law in a decade
