Diddy paid the hotel personnel 50,000 for the video. That was confirmed. Probably also had to sign an NDA as well to collect the money.
Now, I’m guessing someone at the hotel made and kept a copy that day, and finally felt safe to now release it/leak it to CNN. Since his power is crumbling. And there’s no way he’d attempt to sue whoever leaked it this stage. So they took their chances. But how awful a domestic abuse situation like that caught on tape, was able to be hidden bc the pos has money.
All those scumbags defending this sick man are just as bad. Crazy how people will defend evil.

A true narcissist doesn't have the capacity for empathy, like it's literally turned off inside of them. So they literally just imitate what they think empathy is. So what you are seeing is not him being sorry, which is why he never apologizes to her. He is sorry for being exposed and realizing that his facade is being torn down. That is what a narcissist fears the most, being exposed.

After watching the video I cried like a baby. I didn't realize how triggering it would be for me. If you've never been through an experience like that you have no right to say or question why she didn't walk away it's obvious that she was trying to get away. I abhor his actions. Nonetheless, I do have faith in the significance of a truly sincere apology.
However, in a situation of this scale, it becomes challenging to disregard the possibility that he is only apologizing because he got caught. The reason being, he vehemently claimed innocence and accused Cassie and others of lying about his actions.
Hence, despite my belief in the effectiveness of a genuine apology, his willingness to manipulate the truth and resort to extreme measures, like paying a substantial amount to the hotel to delete the security footage, in order to protect his image, is troubling. His lack of regret necessitates that he steps up, abandons his defensive stance in any ongoing legal proceedings, takes accountability, and sincerely apologizes to his twin daughters. For his apology to hold any weight, he must willingly accept all forms of accountabiity.
