No, It is a Ford assembly line. I know you think it is a lunch counter, but you are incorrect. It's an honest mistake. We tend to see things with modern eyes today.

@@SelfvsSelf24don’t explain it. They’re black. It’s a touchy subject with MAGA. They want black people scrubbed from textbooks because it might make white people “feel bad”.
Great. That picture of David Attenborough with Prince Charles and Princess Ann would pair well with the footage of him and Charles' grand children some 60 years later
@Ozzhistory The "factory" picture is not a factory picture. That is a dine in counter. See all the signs for Orange Whip 10 cents and the women in serving outfits and aprons? Unless the Ford assembly plant had a cafeteria. I suppose it COULD be the cafeteria in the assembly plant. Based on other comments, it seems more than a few of us were confused by your description of the picture.
Short videos have to be short.. For more photos, a short description is required..and some do not want to stay and watch a single photo for 10 seconds..
@@Ozzhistory I apologize for the critique, I did not intend it to be rude. I like your videos and I also understand the culture and expectations of short videos. I was hoping you would reply and tell me more about the picture if you happen to know more about it than the time allowed you to say. It is a very neat picture either way and I am genuinely curious if this is what cafeterias looked like in factories during that time period.
It's a cafeteria near the factory. I really appreciate kind viewers like you. You haven't upset me at all. In fact, criticism helps me avoid making mistakes. @jayseeb843 to back him up he's 100% correct. I worked in a assembly plant and besides the fact it's more modern now they do in fact have cafeterias and seating. And if you don't like the cafeteria selection you can go next door to the mini convenience store where they sell TV dinners and sandwiches and drinks
While Elvis was in the army he was taught to drive a tank with the British army by a Scottish man called Alexander Golbraith…reason I know this…I’ve seen the pictures
I didn't know David had been around the royal family for that long. How about that he saw Charles and Anne and now he's with William's children. I'm thinking he's a trusted friend.
I love David Attenborough. He’s well into his 97th year on this planet. When he passes I will be very sad. I have been watching his shows for over half a century.
Yes Sir David will well and truly be missed. He's will leave a giant hole that I don't think anyone else will be able to fill. What most people don't know like yourself there are cafeterias inside assembly plants, obviously more modern now but back in the day counters and stools were the thing everywhere you went
I find it fascinating how black men invented the radiator & a black woman invented central heating... Just shows how cold they grew up in their culture 😢
Assembly plant is a restaurant. I never saw cake and drinks with straws in an assembly plant.
Sitdown strike. Seriously, that looks like a classic Woolworth's lunch counter to me.
I think they are tying to push the orange whip!

Beautiful Elvis and the hippie dad and daughter ❤
Hippie dad was hot!
The radiator s inventors
Did they ever get credited for thier inventions...
They were just demonstrating how it worked, nothing more
They didn't invent it. It was in use in the UK in the 1850's
@@mikalasimpson7789 but they had the idea of the same invention and were willing to make it happen here in America

Changing radiator history

I Love rare, old footage.
I love seeing these old photos. Getting to see photos of people 40 or 50 years ago.
