How to clean and shampoo your car seats the right way with extractor
• Ultimate Guide: How To... - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Any other questions about shampooing car seats? Let me know! All links in description :)
Hey Oscar quick question, how do you make money during the winter while having a detailing business? Do you still have clients or work on something else. Asking because I was in the middle of starting and it starts raining 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️.
The head of the extractor looked pretty dirty before you started extracting. Mine does as well should I clean that part?
Detail Groove how much you charge for a service like this from a sedan like that to suv and pick up truck? Depends on condition of inside? Thanks for your videos!
How long do you have to wait for the carpet/seats to fully dry?
if your here to troll, YOUR PRETTY LAME
I'm extremely glad you addressed the dirty side of the seat because, despite my deceptively calm exterior, my inner OCD self was SCREAMING that you missed it lol!
Another great video Oscar! You gave at least (3) different aspects for cleaning seats, all of which were pertinent, based upon your capability to provide the service. Keep up the good work!!
Great video! Wanted to clean my car myself and now feel confident I don’t need a lot to tackle it. Thanks
You’re literally soooo organized on your channel in the description I love it.
Man just started watching and now subscribed to your channel and I can tell you after hundreds or close to thousands of hours of watching youtube channels of all the car detailing channels out there, YOU are the MOST real and tell it how it is as a beginner to a professional car detailing channel out there, you show what you can do without all the exspensive equipment to still get the job done right..... Just saying coming from detailer one to another detailier, ABSOLUTELY, the best on youtube... Great videos, keep up the good work man cause you are telling it how real it is.... Much appreciated....
Thank you for taking the time to go through the entire process as well as cover other options/variations.
I literally followed along with this video today and my seats came out looking SO GOOD. Even with a Rug Doctor extractor, it still turned out amazing.
I regret not using a rug doctor as I used a karcher one that had no suction lmao
Hey, don’t hate on Rug Doctor haha. They still make damned decent commercial products. Ever rent one of their home shampooers?
God knows what concoctions are thrown in those, who rents em and they’re always going strong.
Most detailers are terrified of even considering running a carpet chemical through their Mytees and Sandias lol. Not saying they couldn’t handle it, but you catch my drift, I’m sure.
@@FilthUD I was tool tech at home depot, and can't attest, mofos don't read instructions and don't give a fuck about the cleaning deposit,(because we hardly ever charge it reguardless, annoying when they don't regular vacuum first and bring it clogged with hair to the point the brushes don't rotate)
Great video...thank you for taking the time to share all the options and pros and cons.
That literally looks so literally good. Literally thank you for literally showing us. Cant literally wait to do mine. Literally.
You are a great teacher! Thank you! Cant wait to use one of these processes on my seats!
You do a great in explaining the various ways to detail. As there are different situations and techniques for different scenarios. You explain all the ways to approach things and give the reasons why.Whether its for the weejkend awarrior, avid car enthusiast, beginner or Pro detailer making a living doing this.Very good videos.
You are man!
And my go to for my needs. I'm new at this but I can see you know your job very well. Thank you. I'll be watching your videos 😊
Love ❤️ your personality and instructions, Thanks
Thank you, I love the real time videos.
Another good video from the Groove-Man !
Great job on the seats!!! Keep on with the information!!
When the Groove man is talking about the cleaning the head-rest , it made me think of the movie Coming To America , where the one family left all that grease on the couch from their hair-spray .
I appreciate ya video bro you made me grab a whole detail car kit to kick off a side gig Iamma be watching more of you …..GOD BLESS ya ✊🏾💯
Just getting into this. Great vid and thanks for all the others!
Well done video. Great explanations of the options.
Literally an excellent upholstery cleaning video
These are good tips! I'm trying to avoid buying a proper "extractor", so I'm gonna use these tips and my wet/dry shop vacuuming to get most of the way there. Hopefully that's enough for a really dirty couch.
Great tutorial, I watched it as a refresher on the methods to clean fabric seats. 👍👍👍
Great video! Learned a lot, thank you 😊
AWESOME INFORMATION. Exactly what I was looking for.
Finally got the chance this weekend to put this video into action, so impressed with how well this worked on my husbands filthy tradesman ute. We used Dr Bronners Saldsuds and a steamer with towel drying, and it came up amazing, thank you so much for this video you saved us so much money, right in time for Christmas - bless you 😇💎
Thanks for the video! This is exactly what I needed!
I just bought a benz and this is very helpful
I remember when I bought my 04 Yukon, an all I used was the blue can from auto zone, an micro fiber towels that was a good work out

Great work man 👏🏻 What kind of battery do you use for your mobile services
Great video! Can I use all of this on my microfiber couch? It needs a deep cleaning!

thanks for all the info in this vid, looking to get a steamer soon to do mine an my in laws vehicles, would you recommend the one you used here?
Great job bro
Ey man im having trouble with the angles with the extractor amy good tips
Winner for the most and longest ads ever!
Nice, I'm doing mine by hand will simple green work? What spray you recommend boss
very helpful. Thanks!
I would say use caution of fabric seats/upholtstery when using the drill brush tool as to potential harshness from the bristles.Use light pressure and keep it constantly moving or you could wear the fabric out as the fabric is thinner than carpet material. Another thing is always be aware of howw much water and solution being used to not over saturate the fabric or the floor of the carpet when cleaning. I have seen on other vidoes to be carefull with the heat of the steam cleaner around certain areas in the interior so as to not get to hot or over saturate the area where there is adhesive that could loosen.Like with a headliner.
I have done that to my car and the fibers on the seat were listing up like fur instead of being tight, flat pattern. How would you avoid that?
Great info 👍
Awesome video.
Good explanation
Can you tell what types of machines you used and from which company
Great job me and my daughter have nice cars now so we have some of the products to keep them nice I like the steamer the ones I've had unfortunately packed up after only a few uses but they weren't the best but expected a bit more from them
Great video thanks for refreshing mi mind.
i have a viper wolf130 barely starting out excited to use it..
Thank you 🙏🏽 I was afraid to tackle my daughter’s car front seats.
Thanks for the video
nice tutorial
You used super cleaner degreaser? Or what you used on that little pump sprayer? I’m def doing my truck this weekend fallowing your steps I got the wet and dry vacuum and pretty much all the tools just have not idea what to use for cleaner 😬
Great vid
Everything your showing and teaching is excatly how i had to do jobs in the beggining, yeah it was hard work but the more you make the more you can invest in tools and products to make things get faster and simplier.
que gueno señor. keep it up!
Does the manual brushing pull on the fibres, making it fluff out a bit on certain seat materials?
Great vid! Do you recommend only an APC for upholstery cleaning or a dedicated upholstery and carpet cleaner?
APC plus Degreaser 20% percent then 80% warm water ..make sure place vacuumed first ..thank me later
Questions what liquid did you have in the pump sprayer I bought most of the stuff you have I have a used car lot and buying all this stuff so hopefully it helps the guys that clean my cars I just didn't hear what you have in the pump sprayer or what it was for
You should detail Matt’s Offroad recovery Jeep.
Good info!
Great video! Can you use a little soapy dawn dish soap to clean your upholstery?
Yes
YESSSSSSSS IM HERE FOR THISS🤩🤩🤩
Do you use another product after superclean in case the client doesn't like the superclean smell?
Is there any difference between use a impact driver or the drill impact in this case?
thankyou for this @detailgroove is a steamer totally necessary, and can I buy a cheap handheld one?
I may have missed it but do you inject cleaning agent with extraction machine while vacuum or is it just water ?
Thank you
Im new. Thank you for the Info
Nice dude 👌
Do you add any cleaning solution to the extractor machine or just use water?
Awesom thank you 🙏🏽
How do you clean Meshed seats. I would use the same way as if it was like the cloth seats in the video
Typically how long should an interior and exterior detailing take?
What do you use to clean the headliner of the car? I know steamer works fast to ive seen other people use spong and interior cleaner
What kind of soap do you use for the trim? That foams up?
How do you clean your micro fibre towels? Special detergent?
How often do you have to empty out the aqua provac during a job?
What vaccum hose sleeve are you using? I need help finding a good durable vacc sleeves that wont rip or tear as it being rub against the ground
Is a steamer necessary with having a extractor and drill brushes to scrub seats ? Don't know if I should buy a steamer for better results?
The extractor machine that you have is hot water? Is necessary hot water for ?
What do you use in your extractor. Or is it just water?
What were the 3 type of extractors that can be purchased?
Do you tend to have the drill brush set to 1 speed or 2 speed setting?
How much extractor shampoo do you use in the spray bottle ? Do you add water
It usually takes me 3 to 4 hours to clean a car because I don’t have power tools. I can’t use the garage either bc my dad took apart our suv 3 years ago and hasn’t put it back together yet.
I cleaned out the interior of a astro van we have that has never been detailed since we use it to carry stuff inside of it and I dumped out the container 6 times of the aqua pro vac when I cleaned out the seats and carpet. I spent about 2 hours cleaning the van lol since that’s how dirty it was but now it looks like new well at least only on the inside it does. This machine works good and got it at a good price. I do wish I had a steam cleaner though I’m debating on getting the dupray white box steam cleaner off of Amazon or the Mcculloch steam cleaner. I keep seeing negative reviews toward the Mcculloch 1385 steam cleaner which is why I’m leaning more towards getting the dupray instead.
I used a mcculloch for years, its a great steamer. I upgraded to a Chief 75 last year the biggest difference is I hold steam pressure much longer.
