All of a sudden my ASUS external DVD writer is showing up under my '' this pc'' as a ''BD-RE Drive'' as opposed to it showing up as a ''DVD RW DRIVE'' as my other external DVD Writer is. Am I right to assume the BD means blue ray? It will not recognize my DVD+R DISCS, My DVD-R, or my DVD+RW discs, and it has been working well with those discs up until just recently. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

The DVD read speed of this external player is 8x. So that depends on the DVD / game requirements which you have to research yourself and match up with the DVD drive.
Whoever is making noise in the background; if you kept background noise to a very minimum I guarantee you will get more followers because the noise was so annoying (i hate the sound of water coming out of a faucet) & overwhelming of your voice that I put my finger over the speaker to dampen the noise of it for the last half therefore not getting to hear the most important information given in your video:/
