I was late to the LCD party, but damn this is so good!
Saw them at Coachella in 2004 (?) First tour. Tens of thousands of people at Coachella but me and 49 other people watching them at a side stage. They looked nervous and inexperienced. Then saw them a year later in Los Angeles in an Echo park club, already much more polished and 300 people. Finally saw them in San Francisco in 2006 and they were on fire, maybe 800 people... then I moved to Dubai and only chance to see them was the farewell movie which played at the Dubai Film festival. Great to see them back and rocking same as ever...
Saw them on SNL and immediately fell in love with the sound. Brings me back to when there were "many" killer bands from the UK making great music - Echo & the Bunnymen, Charlatans UK, James, The Ocean Blue and on & on.
Only person I’ve met who knows who Echo and the Bunnymen are.

This is so excellent. I'm really glad this doesn't suck. An instant classic and as good as anything as they've released previously. Also, that guitar part at the start reminds me of Pulp, which is no bad thing

There's something so passionate and a little angry even about this that I can really relate to right now.
One of the rare bands that, whenever I snap out of reverie while watching 'em live, I notice I've got a big goofy grin on my face. Pure joy.
Innovating legendary sounds, cool to watch a band like this continually rise. I will be in a deep audio experience in any room rocking out where this music is being played live by these people.
It's like the perfect mix of New Order (my fav band) and U2.
