    Please Sir how do you connect it to ac power supply source?
    At 30v will the current be 10 amps?
    How to increase current to 20amps?

    I did not see in the test, the current supported.
    Maybe the construction only supports 2-3 A. I don't know !?

    Hello. Good time... I am disturbing from Iran... Can this circuit be used instead of the 12V battery input, using a 220AC to 18V DC transformer?... Then my next question is about the amperage of this circuit... Will this circuit help? Does it increase the flow or not....Thank you if you answer....Thank you very much

    Just use a UC3843 ic to make the boost converter .its easy and cheap.i may make one soon

      I did this successfully but the mosfet overheats even with a 2 amp load

      Because in this way the single ended configuration can be obtained, with a filling factor of up to 98%. With only one output connected, you only have up to 49%. Read TL494's datasheet ...

      @@velceaiulian6439 that's not the case at all. the output control is what determines where the pwm % will stop. If OUTCTRL is tied to ground you can have up to 97-98% duty cycle. But if tied to Vref the only about 45-47%. connecting E1 and E2 together won't do anything except for maybe destroying the IC

      @@f.a3202 Because there is a "dead time" function, the signals from the output transistors never overlap, so I.C. will not be destroyed because of this. You can destroy it for any other reason, but because of the overlapping signals - NO !!
      I don't comment on the rest of the ones you mentioned, I have to look through the datasheet for a refresh, but the "dead time" thing is valid for any PWM controller, even the permanently single-ended ones.
      I have repaired and tweaked too many sources at work to be convinced that this is fundamental.

    Tl494 is obsolete, use SG3843 insted it has gate driver circuit inbuilt.

      It is easy, pin 7 and 12 of the TL494 are the input, negative and positive respectively, and the output is the positive of the 220mf capacitor with the same negative of the input

      It isn't possible. The circuit as shown in the schematic is boost only.
      True buck-boost converters require quite complex control and and switching circuits.

    Very nice, but could have improved greatly by a voice over in the background that would have aided the understanding greatly as is evident with the background noise that the mic wasn't being used. The circuit at the end also doesn't help greatly for ex the voltage (Min&,Max) isn't mentioned. Finally in still wondering where the second put that you were twirling in the vdo...
