What confused me was that he was talking crazy to mea and she kept going back!!!! And who meets in a dark dim lit loft to discuss a legal case???? And why didn’t the friend tell Kelly she Slept with him???
Also the man was accused of murder and the brother in law was hedging a mayoral bid on his winning this case, surely he needed more than 1 defense attorney, based on the magnitude of the case. Even when she went to give him the box of his case files, she refers him to an attorney with a whole team who could help with his case. Like seriously, sometimes I feel like TP playing with us.
Two things can be true at the same time: Tyler has accomplished much in terms of building a studio and creating space for black productions while, at this point, desperately needing to hire writers.

Movie was absolutely Tyler Perry-ish. Writing was terrible. Acting was terrible. Trevonte's acting was terrible. Kelly's acting was okay. The way they had the white momma talking to Kelly was very unbelievable. The paint sex scene was good. It was music behind that made it better. I liked Ronreaco, he was the only good acting. Such ashame that Tyler Perry still hasn't improved.
The last movie i saw Kelly in was Freddy vs. Jason 😂😂😂. And you're right. I think the husband played Andi's boyfriend in Sistas. This movie seemed like Tyler Perry took bits and pieces from different movies and glued them together for this monstrosity.

Here’s my points
1. They didn’t really show Kelley doing her job.
2. They kept dragging sexual tension between them
3. The scene like pandora box was unnecessary and random
4. The characters were not fully explained
5. Wtf was the scene where she found the lady in Dominican Republic? That was the biggest stretch in the story.
6. The scene where they called her back from DR and they were around the table plotting to ki&@ Kelley was an odd plot twist.
7. It’s like they had drawn out the sexual tension so much they couldn’t build the characters or the movie. Then they ran out of filming time and rushed the last parts of the movie.
8. I’m watching the credits liiiike

Could someone please explain to me, how that supposed murdered girl didn’t have so much as a scratch on her. Mea said there was so much blood, it seeped into the apartment downstairs. There was also blood on the picture in his place. This is a huge oversight on Tyler Perry’s part. How did the guy explain the blood?

I wouldn’t say it was the greatest movie ever, but it was just ok. The twist at the ending I wasn’t really surprised cuz I had a feeling zaiyr was set up. At first I thought he was guilty, but as a watching the movie, I had a feeling ray is doing some dirty stuff behind the scenes. I only watched this movie cuz of Kelly; that’s it! I didn’t like that kal was allowing his mama to disrespect mea. Mea better than me cuz that mama’s feeling would had been severely destroyed and I would file divorce!

Tyler knows he could have given Kelly, Trevante and his audience far better than this recycled, misogynistic, colorisim pushing, dragged out mess. But I will say that the cast did a great job with what they were given. Your review is so spot on Ash. Wanted to request if you could do Jumping The Broom over in your Movie Corner.

The best moment was Renee and her scene, I'm sorry but all I saw was Veronica Harringron so I loved that!!! also sistas season 7 so far... AMAZING (because tyler didn't write it) highly recommend you see it

I was thinking what is going on w/ Tyler!!??!! I couldn't believe she kissed him & didn't make him wash GROSS! I would've been mad! I was screaming at the tv when she didn't go to the hotel to kick the door in!!! Also, in real life Mea would've been big mad to have f*** ed that "alleged" murdered after her PI friend got the hotel info wrong! I knew the brother was in on it from the jump! WHERE DID THE FRAGMENTS & BLOOD ON THE PAINTING COME FROM!??!! Convict him w/ no body. SMH
