You didn't mention this nice interaction: The clue equipment "Rope" makes the creature it's on unable to be blocked by more than one creature. This effectively makes Suspects (and really any Menace creature, but suspect effects are quite plentiful) unblockable.

The only slight critic I have is that for the commons/uncommons in each color I would have appreciated to see ~6-8 cards and not only 3-4. But that may be personal preference. I only do sealed for in person play otherwise my biggest time investment is certainly online. Much much much cheaper to build decks and play. These vids though are great 😊 keep em up legend 😉

It is worthwhile to note that niv mizzet gets nerfed by leyline. Since leyline makes all your non land permanents all colours, only lands will count towards niv mizzets X ability

At the LRR PPR they pointed out that there is a subtle difference between the MKM boros archetype and old school battalion. Old school battalion specifically ask for the creatures with the ability word to be attacking whereas boros cards in this set ask the player to attack with ANY set of three creatures or more. Means to creatures without haste can contribute on the turn the enter the battlefield. Not really important but it does highlight how these cards are better than old cards.
@@davestier6247 Power creep is inherent to any tcg that plans to continually release expansions and with that in mind it is good to update old mechanics so they can compete.

@@gbort1 Except disguise doesn't fix the main problem of morph in constructed i.e. that nobody want to play a 2/2 for 3 even if it has now ward 2 and just made it more annoying to deal with in limited since now it's harder to remove it before it's turned face up. So it's useless powercreep since morph was nearly only used in limited to begin with.

Leyline of the guild pact is actually a nonbo with the new niv. Because it makes all permanent every color Niv’s requirement of two colored permanents can’t be fulfilled so it’s just a 6/6 flyer which, while good, isn’t worth being 5 colors
How does work the " case card " the first part of the card is only etb or is perpetually and once that resolve the first part of the case is still active ?
It's a shame they didn't renew your contract for the official MTG Arena channel, but I guess that just gets grouped in with all the other downsizing they've been doing. It seems short-sighted by them to not invest more in the game's creators or community, but we'll have to wait and see what happens with MTG over the next couple years to see what kind of an effect it will have.
That helps, but watching the video and maybe reading the overview of Instants and Disguise cards will get you most of the way there. Still a lot more convenient than reading every card multiple times! If you're drafting digitally it's also easy enough to pull those up or consult my ratings spreadsheet to get a little guidance.

You can always look at face down cards you own, but not at opponent's face down cards unless you have a card with an effect that lets you do so.

Yeah, kinda like how discover is just plain better than cascade and cloak is just plain better than morph. The power creep will never end.

Leyline of the guild pact shuts down Niv-Mizzet, because you won't have any color pairs anymore

You’re correct. Leyline is mostly to enable the Case, so you’ll have to evaluate it on a case by case basis.

The first part is always active, the last part only when solved.
