I’m in my 40s and have no one to game with. I recently caught the tabletop bug again and stumbled upon Ironsworn. I have never played a solo rpg before but watching this video has me very excited. Thank you for the demonstration! I look forward to watching your other videos.
The production value is astonishingly good!!! The voices, music, ambiance... the new camera travellings....!!!! I wish I could like this a 100 times! Trevor never dissapoints and after watching a lot of Ironsworn gameplays I can say without a doubt that this is the best representation of what Ironsworn is all about. I have been inmersed in the story from the get go! Keep it up, sir. Strong hit...with a match!

These bandits were really making some crazy rounds. They can oust governments and dominate witches. You'd think that they were an empowered cult of some kind, but they seem to be regular people!

Every time I want to watch a play through of Ironsworn. I can’t help but watch yours.
Wow! I have never played single player RPGs before but your gameplay immediately made me see the appeal. Also the use of multiple angles to convey different people speaking as well as out of character speech is so clever!
Found this channel having only just started to dip a toe in RPGs (solo, at that). Wasn't really sure how or where to start. Thanks for this Trevor, both really entertaining to watch and learn from!

I'm in my 40's, been looking forward to this for ages. I watched Season 1 twice... What a great show, I'll be tuning in for he next one.
I've been playing ironsworn since day 1 of its release and watched dozens of let's play. How come I've never found this before eludes me! This is gold!
This is incredible. I have been looking at Ironsworn for a while. Actually seeing how it is played though is wonderful.
Part of me is also looking at the story unfold and thinks, "Wow... this would be super easy to adapt into other games."
So DnD Party arrives, ferried by a captain who owes one of them a favor. They are relatively low level but set out. Eventually coming across the flooded river ford and have to piece their way across, where they meet Barri and the other guards...
possibly throw in a few random encounters here and there and this... this could take a session or two but itself.

It definitely shows that you have put a lot of time/effort into the editing, sound effects/music, visuals of displaying the stat trackers on screen, minis/terrain, etc. Thanks for putting in so much to make season 2 even better than season 1 (no small feat).
I have come back after 3 years to watch this again as I get back into Ironsworn. :D Sooooo good. Better than books, audio books, movies, tv series. Love it so much. Thanks for your great work.

Recently picked up Ironsworn with Delve as well as a few other supplements. It is a daunting system to start from scratch. But this series has helped.

Thank you for doing this. I'm just starting my own Irornsworn campaign in a more high fantasy world, and I'm still a little unclear about some rules, but watching this has already helped me with how to properly undertake a journey.
Ahh yes finally. Can not wait for work to be over and watch this on the big screen at home. Who needs Netflix.

i actually use ironsworn rules to play dnd games solo..i just ignore stat sheets of enemies but keep their abilites such as what magic they can use and weaknesses/strengths.
Haven't watched in a long time, but decided to start on season 2. Quite entertaining. Love the creativity. And I almost get as excited as you do when you when you roll the dice and something cool or unexpected occurs. Will keep watching for sure.

I am just here again to say thank you. I play (or tried to play) ttrpg for 3 decades now. Finding groups and the time is not easy but I could not imagine how playing solo would be fun. Where I come from (Germany) it´s not a big deal yet anyways.
Well, I found your channel a week ago, now I´ve read Mythic, Ironsworn and played already my first two sessions The Walking Dead (which ist super exciting to play solo and I would love to see you running a season of it) and well, yes, I totally love it. Great premiere and thanks for bringing back a little pre-Pandemic normalcy to my life. I liked that you narrated the campfire scene and used oracle rolls instead of a straight Gather Information move. It was much more dramatic to hit that match on the 99 roll. Plus, EVERY move roll is a potential for disaster. RIGHT, OTHER IRONSWORN PLAYERS??? :)

Top notch roleplaying. In the start of the pandemic, I took my first steps to the genre with DnD using the Roll 20 platform. I took to the game mechanics easy enough since they were on the lighter side of the tabletop war games I play. However, the roleplaying aspect has been really tough for me. I might try and use the Lodestar book to as a cheat sheet to help me with that aspect even though I think it would be more helpful on the DM side of things.

Holy shit i enjoyed your storytelling so much! Love the random generation of a story and most everything being left up to chance and seeing where it takes the whole thing. I was looking at this system recently and might try to run it with or for some friends of mine. You made me really want to learn the system now!
