I learned how to fly in a 1946 Piper J3 Cub (N98033) back in 1965 at Aretz Airport in Lafayette, Indiana. Always my favorite plane to fly. The plane was owned by Purdue Pilots. I paid just $5.50/hr wet to fly the plane.
Man I wish it was that cheap today!
@@dailyolds1970 Me, too! Our Cessna 172 was $10/hr wet. I took my flight test for my Private Pilot license in the 172.
