storytime: i made the mistake of clicking on a performance from the first episode and I got emotionally attached. i hate survival shows FYI. they give me unnecessary anxiety and I hate to see people suffer. Later I found out Yujin is participating in the show cause cube is a bitch and now I watch girls planet 999 every Friday and rant to my friends until they tell me to stop.
Conclusion of storytime: There's something insanely wrong with me or the show is highly addictive. Also, Bora's performance of bounce back literally gave me chills.

I have never understood a person more. I told myself I would stop watching because I was getting frustrated and anxious (RIP my mental energy! RIP my exams!) however I have been watching the episodes as they come. Bora is everything. Sunwoo lead vocalist of Fiesta team 1 did NOT deserve to be eliminated. Hye Rim is the moment. Xia Yan skyrocketed to the top of my picks in her How You Like That Performance, it's a shame that the show didn't give her any screentime in any of the episodes so far, she's a force to be reckoned with. She has unique charisma and visuals, and knowing that she originally was a main vocal but ended up as such a perfect rapper was incredible. Her rap was one of the most stable and that's something considering the amount of energy she threw into it and her cadences are so fucking hype. I think she's a hidden ace.
honestly my c group picks all changed after the mission, i used to vote for the most “popular” ones (xiaoting, ruiqi, cai bing) and now i’m voting for ppl that i’ve actually seen improvement on and deserve more screentime. xia yan is so underrated she deserves better, i wish the masters had given her some praise too cuz she deserved main rapper instead of cai bing imo

they definitely will get some attention... it’s just a matter of what mnh does with that. they haven’t had a comeback in over a year and then seungeun suddenly shows up on the show without notice. yuvin and kookheon were really popular on pdx yet their original group disbanded and yuvin left the company. poor management is a problem that cannot be solved by popularity alone, sadly

Honestly the Bahiyyih comment was on point, they clearly have no idea what the fuck to do with her but are pushing her for views wherever they can even if it doesn't fit. No one knows what she's good at or what she excels in or anything because she get 5 seconds to show up, say something random, and then they shove her away until they find a use again. Like???? Yeah same, at first she was my top pick and the only reason I started watching but slowly I found myself not wanting her to debut in this group. It's a perfect publicity for her but with the amount of hate she's getting now I can't imagine how much it will be if she debuts in gp999. She's popular and I'm sure just about anywhere will take her so I hope this gives her experience but I don't necessarily want her to debut here and not just because of the hate I feel like she needs more time to practice. Don't get me wrong she's talented but there are just other people who've trained longer than Bahiyyih with little to no opportunities other than this, if she does get in I won't really be mad though we'll have to see it play out

This is my first time following a survival show. I watched the first few episodes of P48 last year, but that was, quite obviously, long after the battle. This time I kinda wanted to see it from beginning to end in real time, be part of the fever, hate every single minute of it, see the group emerge, complain that they're not as good as IZ*ONE, follow religiously what they do until they disband, you know, the usual reasons.
Let's pray that they'll have at least a decent singer and s decent rapper....

Watching GP999 has only reinforced what I was pretty sure was already the case from PD101 and PD48 - an initial lineup size of about 100 contestants is way the hell too big. These shows should start with no more than 48 or so contestants and then pare it down from there. It'd make for a much better experience overall.
Anyway, love the D&D analogy. Don't think I've seen anybody do that before in a K-pop video with this degree of commitment.

I don't watch the show either, but I watched this video for Yujin (I love CLC) and possibly Ririka (who I first saw from another campaign, Nizi Project).
Please do Red Velvet, Twice, Itzy, Everglow and CLC as D&D parties, along with backgrounds and subclasses and feats.
Wendy strikes me as super-smart. For me, she's a sage wizard.
Irene and Tzuyu have archery skills, so I see them as fighters or rangers with the archery fighting style and the sharpshooter feat.
