I think people who dislike CLC saying no in No, don’t have a an idea what the song’s deeper meaning is. It’s about rejecting Korean standards on women. The high heels, lipstick, hand bags, they say no too. I like me, means they like how they feel about themselves, not what they are adorned with. The music video has it half way right (burning things and putting the things I mentioned in a casket), but mess up making them look amazing (obviously for a reasonable reason) in said items.
Psycho is way better than Bad Boy to be honest. The vocals are ten times better and it is simple, while not betraying their tight vocals they always have. And it came out right at the end of the year and still kicked butt.
And Somi.....I think some of that hate is on YG and basically giving her his crap when he left the same day. Let alone the song is what is happening with blackpink; it’s underwhelming for an artist we know is good and could benefit from having a stronger song. But I totally agree that she makes it good with her sass and fun nature. The outfits, the drop, and the reusing of a skate scene from Blackpink in the video really made it sad for me.
Regarding No, i understand that some people like it, it has a good message.
For me though, it's just that i don't like those kinds of sections that grind the flow of the song to a halt.
The chorus is fine, it's just the "red lip? No!" Bit just really took me out of it.
I loved black dress because it had this unrelenting beat, sure there was a breakdown dance part, but it was internally consistent.
It's just a personal taste for me, and No just doesn't do it for me. Good message though. :)

Honestly, the thing I didn't like about No isn't necessarily the message, but more the hypocrisy. It's fine to reject beauty standards women face, in fact, it's great. But it's weird to say high heels, no, red lip, no, when you are literally wearing high heels and a red lip to look pretty for the MV. Of course, women are free to do as they want. If they want to wear high heels and red lipstick, that's totally fine, but the lyrics present it as such a one-dimensional decision while failing to follow up with their own words.
The only thing I don’t like clc saying no in No is the WAY they say it. For me it was very annoying to listen to

I'm glad CLC is getting the love on CZcams recently! When I first heard NO I was honestly amazed, because I was still new to Kpop(maybe 2 or 3 months at the time of the comeback) so I haven't heard much in the industry. NO was such a breath of fresh air, so interesting and in terms of pop music it was so different, I put it up there with Zimzalabim(Love it too) with unique sounding songs. The hook(I think, idk my music terms LOL) is so frickin awesome! Like it's just something that's so easy to share and meme but so powerful at the same time, lol I'm a dude and I feel powerful listening to it. I think it's so much better with headphones it gives the extra impact, the vocals were amazing, the rap was badass, as the 1st comeback I experienced as a Kpop fan it's forever cemented in my heart lol.

I really loved this list, all of these songs were so good. I‘m also so glad you put TAEMIN with Want so high on the list. I feel like the Kpop community was kinda overlooking him this year 🤔 for me SM did really great (musically wise) this year with their artists. Red Velvet was fantastic, TAEMIN as well and I was in love with NCT/WayV’s releases this year (Superhuman, Moonwalk and Boom were gorgeous). A personal favorite of mine was also Yunho’s debut mini album with the title track follow. I always love TVXQ, but this was a new but interesting style for him, I can only recommend it! Overall I’m excited to see what you have in store for the new year, your opinions on songs and their composition is always very interesting to watch.
How can you forget EXO? They snapped with Obsession and the whole album was a masterpiece. But yes, I agree with everything else you said.

I thought I was the only one that was really feeling jamais vu. No one on my tl on twitter seems to talk about it that much so I had to go out my way to find people that loved it as much as I did. It’s not a song I would normally listen to but the air of the song, the lyrics, being able to hear jin with the two members whose voices I find really interesting, and hoseok singing at the end with jin and jk! omg I adore that song. I really cherish it and am glad that they decided to release something like that.

I love watching videos like this because there are so many songs that I haven't even heard of and I love discovering new songs or groups! I know who GOT7 is, and I'm trying to learn more about the group because I've heard so many great things, but I hadn't heard the first song on your video and it sounds amazing! And itzy is definitely a girl power group. Almost all of their songs sound like anthems. I also didn't know about Bandit until the song Dumb and I love the vocals, especially the deeper voiced vocals, beautiful.
