  • Meet our two remaining Mini Aussies and see the difference in energy and drive. The small female (AKC Miniature American Shepherds) and the larger male are polar opposites in energy and drive (the inherited desire to work and perform tasks) Drive can be build up in a lower drive dog (Nikita was very low drive as a puppy and I built her into a medium high drive dog) but one born with high drive will need a physical and mental outlet for those inborn impulses. The female is going to a sport home, the male is still available www.kaleidoscopetoyaussies.weebly.com for adoption information his adult weigh will be probably around 30 pounds. In this video we also discuss bonding with your puppy using NO treats.

Your videos are incredibly informative for anyone looking at bringing in a new puppy. As I watch, I see how important it is to try and "think" like a dog, and not like a human! I try to keep that in mind.

Wow what a lot of good tips and information. You’re so knowledgeable. I enjoy your channel. You’re very kind to rescue horses. Also the TLC you put in to your breeding of all those beautiful healthy puppies. It really warms my heart. 🐶☺️

I wish you could have a dog, too! At least you can enjoy watching him on the channel. I will do training videos with him after his sister goes if he is still here.

Didn't know about the horse rescue, wow, great work! Found the channel for the mini aussie puppies... One of the best videos was taking responsibility for potty training, accidents are not the puppy's fault, it's your fault... and the bonding that you're talking about now... the time and patience you put in really does pay off! My little tri is just about 5 months and such a good boy!

Why do people insist on docking rails and ears. AKC should be taken to task for this and made to change their view on dockings. You wouldn't cut off your child's fingers, hands, ears why the heck would you do it to animals purely because a group of people thinks it looks good. I have big respect for vets who refuse to do those.

It isn't just AKC. Aussie tails were being chopped off for hundreds of years for a variety of silly reasons long before AKC accepted them. We never dock tails here.
