Even in 2024 , the ABLEWE AV to HDMI converter is awesome. 0 input delay, colors aren’t washed out , and runs fine almost all the time.
I have a black one and test it out on my Sega genesis and Super Nintendo. It plays great on there. I can't wait to try it on my XBox 360, Wii, N64, PS1 & PS2.

While your devices are turned on unplug an plug back in the hdmi cord and it should work mine does that sometimes.. Hope this helps

some of this thing have its audio video feed changed, so if your adapter don't have video on the yellow cable, try the other two, until you have the video, then the other 2 would be audio

I know this is 2 years old and you hopefully aleady found out by now hopefully...lol but if not, fuck it ill explain, basically you plug your rca cables from the old console into the adapter, the adapter is then converted to be outpouting hdmi because that's how it sees it as now because of the adapter, now you plug that hdmi into the "in" of your capture card, and "out" on the capture card should go to the TV

InsanityPlays some don’t do both . There are just made one way either output to hdmi or or output AV you have to buy the correct one

Hey man! It's really amazing. I have seen lots of videos about this device mini AV (RCA) to HDMI. I want to see if it works very well or not; if it really converts 480i (PS2 resolution) to 1080p (Full HD). What can you tell me about that? Is it really a good image?
It's defitnitly a better crisper image but I couldn't call it true HD
@@racimbiothanks for answering! I think that all we use to get a better image in PS2, give us exactly this: better contrast, coloration, saturation and good brightness.
I’m using my 80gb PS3 to play PS2 games and it looks way better than this, and it plays in the correct aspect ratio.
The PS2 and any other console you try will go through at its own resolution, maybe upscaling the image would make it a little better but at the end of the day you're still playing 480i upscaled to 1080p (I'd think it'd remain 1080i though but I won't argue about it). The only way to actually bring your system up to 1080p is by using component cables or just hard modding the system's output with an HD mod (verrry expensive and risky though).

So I've bought 2 of these things from ebay, both of them havent worked. One of the two that I bought was the same branding 'MINI' as the one you have but it's black and instead of saying 720p/1080 on the side it says ntsc/pal.
Make sure that you use a power supply if you look at it it comes with a cable the same thing you used to charge your phone or if you have a USB port plug it in maybe that's why it's not working don't know how you hook it up but it has a little imput did you plug in your USB cable and you can plug in 2A USB power supply that powers it up that makes it work if you do not put it on it will not work end of court I am a professional technician if you have any questions contact me thank you

You shouldn't have any issue I haven't. And I also had sound issues with other products before but since these work and they are cheap I own 5 now just incase they go bad
I bought one of these and I'm frustrated that I can't get the same picture quality that I'm seeing with you. There is no difference between when I plug my ps2 directly into the TV vs when I use this adapter. What are you doing that I'm not? Is there a special setting on the TV itself that I have to enable? I've gone through the various menus but nothing makes the game look sharp like it did on older TV's. What am I doing wrong?

make sure that you bought an RCA INPUT to HDMI OUTPUT take a look on what you bought.

No for that you would need a separate convertor that dose Hdmi to AV they only go one way

Did you ever try it on older games like NES? I heard there's a buzzing sound that it makes
Wife and I used it in an original nes to stream it to computer and didn't hear any weird sound. Quality may vary though since these arnt crazy expensive

You probably would be better off playing your Gamecube games on the Nintendo Wii. As long as your TV has component inputs (blue, green, red) your good to go.

Question: where do insert the usb if you are using a n64?
You can plug it into a phone wall charger if you have one, any power with a USB post will work. When I use it on my n64 I'll plug it into a laptop or my phone charger block

If it dosnt work with your pst make sure you have the correct one Av to Hdmi not Hdmi to AV they are different. If you have any other device like a vcr or another game system, check to see if it works with those... If none work and you have the correct one. You might have a faulty one :(
