#jomezpro #discgolf Why are you still reading this? Get out and play some Disc Golf! - Sport
It's awesome to hear these guys talk about how good James is. Fast forward two years and he just won the US Championship and beat them all....
Fast forward two more years and he wins Worlds....
So fun to see Dave on the lead card again.
I don't know what you guys are talking about Koling is great and I like his commentary as well
jomez productions has the most professional productions out there. keep up the awesome job guys.
Who watches smashbox?
+Julie O'Donoghue Nobody that wants professional coverage.
HogLeg speaks truths!
AMEN to Jerm on woods golf. Preach it brother!
I love what Jeremy said about playing in the woods show casing the control and skill of throwing the disc because I live in CT and that's all we have so wicked challenging.
Erik Chetelat I live in Massachusetts and I know what u r saying
There is a lot of it where i live too but i see why they dont use the woods as much, and it makes sense to me. Not only for the reasons that Jeremy said, but because the high amount of tree kicks provide a random element to the game that makes it more uneven than playing a more open course. If you throw a terrible shot in the woods a lot of times you get lucky and walk away with a par, where as if you throw a good shot and get unlucky you could walk away with a bogey or worse. In the open, that doesnt happen as much, and i feel it provides a better platform for competition. If there is less to hit, you rely more on throwing an actual good shot, and if its bad, it stays bad and maybe goes OB. I think having proper OB is better than having tons of trees and no OB. However, having some wooded courses is okay, but i dont think we need more than what we have already.
The best of the best, *with* the best! The only way I could see these getting better, is if all the drives had the shot tracker. Big shout out to Big Jerm; I fixed your stool up a treat - thanks for that! Jeremy has got to be the person who is the keenest to talk about disc golf, with anyone, at any time, and for as long as you want - that I have ever met. And we see some of that here in this commentary - which was outstanding.
Shout out to Dave, too - what a truly remarkable comeback after potentially paralyzing surgery - and he's only halfway through his recovery. It's very exciting to see.
There's no coverage I wait on more than Jomez. That intro music sends shivers of anticipation down my spine.
I love how smooth and easy the putter comes out of Big Jerm's hand. His overall game is fun to watch, the Koling-ing on different lines and creative shots makes for an interesting round to watch.
These pro player commentators are an excellent touch to amazing production value. Nate last time and Jeremy today shine through the most but Eagle and Simon's input on this video added a lot of value.
Always fun to come back to old videos to see things like Evil Dave
Great video as always Jomez! I really like what Jeremy brought to this commentary and all three make a great team for this vid. I love Eagle's "what!?" reactions lol
You can just tell by Big Jerm's commentary that he is a class act.
I'm really enjoying the commentary and the disc golf. These guys are way too awesome! Keep it up Jomez. Jerm does lead on to what he knows is going to happen a little bit but I can really enjoy his sense of humor and Simon and Eagle are great. People will have their personal preference on commentators but disc golf has never before enjoyed this level of coverage and production. Keep up the good work guys.
Just found out this was big jerm a first jomez commentary- a historical documentary!
definitely professional coverage. love Jomez Pro and every video!
Love the commentary group!
The need for more tunnel shots is exactly right. In my opinion, the 200-250 dead straight shot is something that EVERY pro should have in their bag, and I don't see a lot of it out there. It is much more difficult than a hyzer line, which even a newbie player can throw, and requires almost no mastery over the disc, which again, a pro should have. Too much focus on distance and not enough on versatility.
1:40 Simon's comment about James on tour....crazy!
Great video Jomez! Love that you show course info with "meters" for us outside US!
Watching this after James Conrad wins the World Championship and it’s fun to see when someone gets “introduced” to the world.
"It's called 'Koling-ing'."
Going back listening to this is funny as Simon says "James Conrad on the lead card thats something special". Apparently he did not know who he was.. Bet he knows now. I mean since he is now the USDGC Champion.
11:30 I love what he says he's so true wooded area is better it's harder and a better challenge
Little did they know when they were talking about James They were talking about a future world champion!
Brand new Greenies!
eagle l=best fairway.....been throwing them sense 2002!
Is Dave Feldberg Ray Liotta? :D
Hey Mr Jomez, have a link to the intro song? Loving that!
Thanks! starframe.bandcamp.com
Great footage and like the commentary but I notice Eagle sometimes puts his hand(s) over his mouth and it seems slightly muffled. I do like how Big Jerm thinks more courses should be played in the woods a bit more. I think however that you can't have it to much otherwise it won't really showcase accuracy at long distances. Which is also a HUGE thing if you want to see who is the best in the world and if the best in the world are playing a course.
Does anybody else think Jerm sounds like Danny McBride? So funny
Dustin Hopkins lol yes!
Ahhhh! Cannot unhear now!
No spoilers please
Nice video, where's McBeth tho?
BlueChem Him and Nate Sexton are playing a different tournament. This one didn't fit into their touring schedule.
+BlueChem Florida throw down the mountain
it's so weird hearing them talk about james like he is new lol
eagle mcmanus
Egor McManihan!
Windy wind shots, ha!
@jeremykoling we have a good Valley shot here in Knoxville Tn. come on over from the big NC and I'll be your course guide.
Knoxville!!!! Victor Ashe!! Great course. And admiral is a fun 9 hole, par 3 course
Cool commentary. Still, only having Eagle and Simon beats everything.
Big EagLizotte commentary
yikes, this course resembles kit carsun in Northn Cali.
Nice work. Dont listen to the haters, they are just jealous and petty. I love these videos, if ball golf commentators were players I'd probably start enjoying watching that too.
Dang, ..........had to watch this, with 2018 Waco coming up, and am amazed at Eagle's & Simon's thick skin or great ability to control their tempers. Jerm was so contentious with damn near anything the other guys said, and so freaking defensive too. Wow! He has the voice and the connection to the sport and players, it's a good thing he found a way to dial the prickliness back as he did more commentary.
Jeremy even 1 ups himself...
Way to keep it real Jerm. #makediscgolfwoodsagain
Jerm is a great commentator.
Jerm is too centered on himself, he's a cool guy, but annoyingly arrogant in commentary.
Jerm over eagle all day.
Way to go Jerm. Simon and Eagle have been really arrogant in their commentary and your commentary helped balance out their arrogance. Simon and Eagle, you should take lessons.
Jeremy seems too egotistical. Also a 1 upper, he's always got a better story or done it better. Not really a fan of his commentary. SexyBeast or Simon and Eagle all day.
Brian Lee u seem kinda butthurt. u should probably take a nap
I agree Brian, he's a great player but his attitude drives me nuts. Humility is a good trait to have if you're going to be in the public eye
Spoiler
I kinda get what you're saying here I dont feel like Eagle or Simon acted like themselves as much as they did in Round 1 and he pretty much blew off a lot of what they had to say and was giving SPOILERS away left and right.
I don't mind Jerm his own but when he is Simon and Eagle it's not as fun to watch.
germ may be right about a lot of things - & i agree with his wooded course opinion... but he doesn't need to be doing commentary. mike hog, somewhat egotistical, & not funny.
Please no more Jerm
No more Jerm please. Ruined this for me.
