I'm a 55 yo woman that lives in Louisville Kentucky, so watching a much younger lady in England opening make up and potions somehow works!!! I've seen the HP movies, but just with my daughters when they were young. They are now 34 & 25. So I'm not deep into all the secrets, jargon, all the characters by name, but I'm now enjoying learning so much from you! Now I'm gonna learn renovations!!! Thank you for taking me with you! My nail tech recently opened her own store with just 1 hand and 1 raised feet position, some cupboards and a fridge for twa/coffee area and a small desk for her counter and said she raffle needed 2 months from contact and keys to customers. I'm looking to open an Escape Room venue so a lot more to do than her tiny shop. So very exciting but you process of do it yourself, rather than tradies, except Electrical and plumbing, we need licensed people to do those here in Australia, I think I need to win the lottery, especially with the cost of wood the days. I'm slowly building all the props and puzzles, but want the finished project to look as awesome as your shop. Looking great!

😂Lesley is too humble... his sign making talent is other level. He could make a living making signs and putting subliminal words, symbols, and visuals under the layers, so anyone looking at the sign before entering promotes the best for the sign owner. (Just an idea to enhance the shoppe experience.) My question is, what did Lesley use to seal it? A heavy epoxy or a light varathane? Brush on epoxy in a ventillated room will last longer in the outdoor elements whereas a light spray of varathane is more for indoors. And so lovely to see people open to the healthy best of magical beingness. 💥
Just watched this episode and I'm COMPLETELY STUNNED!!! The shop sign looks like it could have been taken right out of HP and I'm SPEECHLESS!! Well done, Lesley!! Can't wait to see more episodes and as a full-time wheelchair user, it's good to have seen the shop beforehand if I ever can come visit from my home in Sweden (Especially that little ramp inside the shop as I personally hate those).
There’s no longer a ramp inside the shop, we’ve had the floor levelled! 🥰 We will however have a portable accessibility ramp that we can apply to our two stairs for our friends in wheelchairs! 💕

Cherry, this is SPETACULAR! The cieling is gorgeous. Those specs on the floor will wear off with people walking. Unless of course you seal the floor with wax. The light collar looks smashing! I have never heard of that gold wax, but it is on my list now! The green wall is super. Your colour pallette is spot on!

I personally would have left the gold flecks on the floor. It is so whimsical. Like it suggests that the magic in the air is so thick, golden dust falls in little deposits. Or maybe a potion bubbled over. Or the wood is from a tree with magical properties and the sap that oozed out was made of gold.

The stained glass is actually a burned decal, we're trying to remove it as it's red and doesn't match the vibe of our shop!

😂Lesley is too humble... his sign making talent is other level. He could make a living making signs and putting subliminal words, symbols, and visuals under the layers, so anyone looking at the sign before entering promotes the best for the sign owner. (Just an idea to enhance the shoppe experience.)
My question is, what did Lesley use to seal it? A heavy epoxy or a light varathane? Brush on epoxy in a ventillated room will last longer in the outdoor elements whereas a light spray of varathane is more for indoors.
And so lovely to see people open to the healthy best of magical beingness. 💥
Just watched this episode and I'm COMPLETELY STUNNED!!! The shop sign looks like it could have been taken right out of HP and I'm SPEECHLESS!! Well done, Lesley!! Can't wait to see more episodes and as a full-time wheelchair user, it's good to have seen the shop beforehand if I ever can come visit from my home in Sweden (Especially that little ramp inside the shop as I personally hate those).
There’s no longer a ramp inside the shop, we’ve had the floor levelled! 🥰 We will however have a portable accessibility ramp that we can apply to our two stairs for our friends in wheelchairs! 💕

Cherry, this is SPETACULAR! The cieling is gorgeous. Those specs on the floor will wear off with people walking. Unless of course you seal the floor with wax. The light collar looks smashing! I have never heard of that gold wax, but it is on my list now! The green wall is super. Your colour pallette is spot on!

It wouldn’t be a fun or special journey if we paid for others to do it, also it saves us a lot of coins doing it ourselves. But it’s all part of the fun!!

I personally would have left the gold flecks on the floor. It is so whimsical. Like it suggests that the magic in the air is so thick, golden dust falls in little deposits. Or maybe a potion bubbled over. Or the wood is from a tree with magical properties and the sap that oozed out was made of gold.
