  • In this video we tackle a relatively new but sad Kawwasaki Ninja 125 that has a burnt out clutch amongst other crash damage that our friend Luke urgently needs back on the road. something of a cascade failure, the chain was worn out and led to jamming, that caused the clutch to slip and overheat eventually burning out the plates. All credit to the little Kawasaki that made it to within a 100 yards of our garage with rider and pillion aboard before expiring. This part 1 is all about dismantling the clutch and getting the right parts ably assisted by Dylan and Sali. We cover all of the parts and tools necessary and research the torque settings to put it back together as information on these bikes is quite hard to find. We find out how these small capacity bikes even from the main brands are constructed from Chinese parts and are becoming a disposable product.

Hi please can you tell me what type of tool you are using to hold the clutch basket, and where you purchased it from please?
I have seen a similar one on ebay but it states that it is not for use on a reversed inner clutch hub, and i don’t know if that is the type of clutch on my son’s 2020 Ninja 125. Thanks
