There was also a canceled Captain Rex figure for the TVC that used his Phase 1 design.
I would like to have the full Tango Company if Hasbro releasd them.

Not only that, but I’m sure there are many from the ordinary line as well! I’d love to someday talk to/interview an ex-hasbro designer!
we need more clones in the 3.75inch line. I'm praying they bring back the clone wars line for bad batch

@@RizkyAceTrainer101 they may have the molds still, or they may have been destroyed. But unfortunately I they don’t seem as interested in making animated figures in that scale. They do it in other lines, but not in 3.75” or 6”

@@RizkyAceTrainer101 I think a lot of collectors share that with you. But it seems to me hasbro wants realism from their line now. Or maybe it’s a push from Disney...hard to say!

Before black series there were the 3.75" clones and honestly it sucks that they don't give 3.75" the love it deserves anymore compared to 6"
Absolutely! 3.75” will always have my focus when it comes to collecting! They really ignore it now sadly....

6:40 you said it was odd that they never tried to rerelease it as a battle pack, what if I told you they might have actually planned to do that exact thing in 2013 before they pulled the plug? Over a year ago when I was doing some research into the clone wars line I found a post on a message board. It dated back to October 2013, not long after the cancellation of the line. This post on the message board was discussing recently leaked listings involving the wave layouts for 2 canceled waves that were set to be released after the one wave we got in early 2013. Some of them items are unclear, but one of them was actually labeled tango company 4 pack. If that name is truly correct then at minimum it probably included both sets of figures from the brain invaders disk packs, but there could also be the possibility of it being those 2 and 2 new troopers on top of that. It’s definitely something interesting to think about.
I’ve heard of some leaked lists like that! Might do a video on it, but it definitely implies some very cool figures were sadly cut at the last minute 😔
@@RustbeltCollector my 2 other favorites on the list have to be the shock trooper and super tactical droid kraken (a character from season 6, these lists were posted before that season released, confirming to me they are legitimate). I wonder how far they got into development? They fully laid out 2 waves but we don’t know anything else. If I had to guess maybe digital models of the molds they we’re going to use might have existed in there computers but they were probably deleted long ago by now.
@@XPproductions365 some paint copies may live on in some designers collection, but most likely it didn’t make it past that if no other info has surfaced.
@@RustbeltCollector that’s very true, I’m very familiar with Jurassic Park merchandise (another Kenner/Hasbro license) and prototypes show up from those kinds of situations quite often. So there’s at least some small amount of hope.
(Edit: when those prototypes are sold it’s usually to private collectors in person, so if they exist and have been sold, that’s probably why we haven’t seen them yet).
@@RustbeltCollector If you’re curious here are the other easily identifiable characters from the leaked list. Ahsoka (this was likely going to be a reissue or improved version of the figure from 2011). Captain Rex (there are actually 2 listed, maybe one of them was supposed to be one of his alternate outfits from season 4). Pong krell (no surprise here, I’m pretty sure hasbro representatives said he was in development at a convention in 2012). Darth Maul (either another repack of the figure from 2012 or something completely new, I have a feeling it was the latter). Jedi temple guard (I’m really sad about this one). Rako Hardeen (this would have been awesome). R5-P8 (Hondo’s astromech droid, odd choice but still would’ve been cool). Yoda (probably just a reissue) and a shadow magna guard (I have no idea what this is from, maybe an unfinished arc like dark disciple, if not then it’s something hasbro made up). Edit: the list can be found by looking up canceled clone wars toys on google. It was posted on a forum named JediDefender.com (it should be one of the first results).
I would love this as a series, two canceled packs that come to mind are the comic pack with the Noghri and the Luke in the white x wing uniform with Han Solo comic pack advertised behind the Darth Nihl pack. Would have loved to see those released.

Speaking of tango squad there was also going to be a battle pack with the rest of them besides sytche but was canceled due to declining sales at the later end of the clone wars. Sythe was fully released and two more were going to be released shown in the video before being also canceled
Do you have any evidence of that being true? Like photos or announcements?
There is a person looking for it on the rebel scum forums he has pics up of havoc and the other trooper with a 3rd blue marked clone. I'm not sure the post is still there but it looked like protype pics. Although is could be faked it looked offical
