  • Today we’ll be comparing the Top 5 Best Pre-Lit Christmas Trees for 2020
Tired of untangling strings of Christmas lights year after year? How about having to constantly clean up pine needles off the floor? It’s time for you to invest in a pre-lit artificial Christmas tree. Even if you love the look of a real tree, artificial Christmas trees have come a long way in how natural they look and are a great alternative because there’s no mess and they can be stored and enjoyed year after year. Opting for a pre-lit Christmas tree is a smart choice so you don’t have to fuss with tangled wires or making sure that all your lights are strung evenly. Our list focuses on 7-7.5 foot tall hinged pre-lit Christmas trees that will bring joy instead of stress to the holiday season for years to come.

The problem with pre lit trees and midget light strings is, no matter how good you take care of them, sooner or later those little wires on the bulbs eventually start to oxidize and it'll eventually work its way up those small wires into the hermetically sealed part of the lamp which will break the vacuum seal causing the lamps to burn out all at the same time. That's what happens when you take down the tree with all the lights working and it gets stored until the next year, you have all the lamps burned out on a whole section. Then you're like "They were all working when I took it down last year!". Problem is when you take it down and put it in the garage, basement, attic etc. It gets exposed to the humidity during the Spring and Summer months and when it comes time to put it up again, that's when they all blow out.
