First and most important clue pointing to Mikrotik WiFi 6 being a mess, is the fact that they decided to and continued to call wifi 6 package wifiwave2. There is no such thing as wifi wave 2 for wifi 6. Mikrotik were working on wifi wave 2 for wifi 5, but due to whatever delays in releasing it, they fell behind and wifi 6 got released. Since all the wifi wave 2 features of wifi 5 is required for wifi 6, Mikrotik just decided to keep calling it wifiwave2. So, my thoughts are Mikrotik hasn't got a clue about wifi 6, and they're still really just improving wifi 5.
Sorry Mikrotik, for my home lab, I'm all-in with RouterOS based routing and switching. For wifi I just cannot respect a made up "wave 2" wifi 6 product. Meanwhile rest of the world including a major competitor in Ubiquiti have already started releasing WiFi 7. Really looks to me like Mikrotik wants to make their own parallel standards of wifi such as wave 2 wifi 6😅😂

El nuevo paquete WiFi es también compatible con más dispositivos que antes, ya que se puede instalar en equipos 802.11ac que tengan CPU ARM*, lo que permite más opciones de compatibilidad con los nuevos 802.11ax; así como usar ambos paquetes inalámbricos (antiguo/integrado + nuevo paquete WiFi) en el mismo equipo simultaneamente. Esto se traduce en que desde un único router, se puede ejecutar tanto el antiguo, como el nuevo CAPsMAN.

That’s not the only issue the new L009 only supports 2.4 Ghz band, no 5 Ghz radio
And if you with the hAP AX3 you get less ports but no HW offload for VLANs either compared with the AC3.
Mikrotik Wifi6 is a mess

I don't understand how a device cannot manage both ac and ax APs. I am running my capsman on a RB3011 that does not even have wifi.

Starting from 7.13 old ARM devices with AC Wifi can be controled by Wave2Capsman. But just wait a little more, because this is still in beta and has its problems.

I upgraded to wifi6 using my trusty mikrotik hAP ac2 as router + a mercusys Wi-Fi6 mesh in AP mode. It has been working fine for me with upgraded wifi speeds throughout my house and mikrotik controlling the network.
