That's the one thing i wish elgin would just stop bothering with. I cant stand kali muscles stupid ass, but he is a bodybuilder going for aesthetics and it's pretty tried and true for bodybuilding that working in the middle 3/5 range will induce growth as much or more than full ROM...theres plenty of shit to make fun of for most of these bodybuilders he chooses, at least stick to that and not the stuff that is actually legit for bodybuilding.
But you can also keep constant tension on the muscle by never letting it rest on the top or bottom.
I myself really like to it like this every now and then.
kylethekidable so when u do half reps but than when u decide to dull full ROM ur tendons snap because there not used to the heavy weight load from only doing half reps
Shit, only way doing the middle ranges with heavy weights promotes muscle growth is when you’re on the juice, ain’t no natty gonna gain muscle or strength by doing half reps, and Elgin being a natty, there’s quite a big reason to roast kali muscle.
Btw, if you think your muscles are resting at the bottom or top, try holding it there as long as you could, don’t just let the bar sit on your chest the whole time, actually hold it there in it’s stretched position, if you don’t get sore then you prove me wrong, do the same when you lock out at the top of the lift as well
+Big Mike You can do full ROM and still never let the muscle rest just learn some mind muscle connection and keep squeezing the muscle. Or do exercises where there's tension on top and bottom of the movement like e.g plate press.
