In other words. Please buy more watches. We are sitting on a ton of over priced inventory and depreciating assets.
Very true, i bought a 41mm no date sub for just $500 over retail, but yet ive had it listed for sale for a month and highest offer ive gotten was 10k. Market is down@@patchesohoulihan9826
No.1 rule…never take market advice from the person or company selling within that market. The consumer owns the market, so I would just read the comments for an accurate market update. 😂
Very true. Never trust these dealers. Also we should know the sale volume. Volume would tell the full story. Current price doesn't mean anything.
Absolutely 👍
Exactly! I bought a 41mm no date sub for 10,5. Now you can get them for 10k (which is retail price with tax)
how many times can someone say prices have stabilized...
Don’t be dense.
the fact of the matter is, they still still slowly dropping.
Yes, prices are still dropping.
😅 they are dropping at a very stable rate!
@@BobbyTable LOL facts!
this guy's been saying the market is stable for over a year, sure man it was always stable... 🤣
😂
We will sell you a watch for $50k, and buy that same watch from you for $40k. Why? To mitigate our risk. Hahaha. What a bunch of malarkey.
I’d rather buy from an AD and get 100% real thing… versus trusting a bunch of flippers from a industrial warehouse in suburban Philly
not to mention building that relationship with the AD for any future purchases
I agree! Fake boxes , papers etc
This is almost sad to watch…
"i'll tell you what...nothing is moving...lets sit down and talk shit for half an hour...it might work.." good luck though fellas ,,it;s tough out there...
😂
One of the best comments I’ve ever seen on CZcams, sitting here with tears streaming down my face, absolutely brilliant! 🤣👍
anthony's rolexes selling below retail
😂
😂
Tony two tugs
Stabilized? LOL... The market has stabilized just like their is peace with Israel and Hamas! Cmon fellas, market is still tanking!
As a consumer, I don’t want it bad enough to ever pay over retail.
So what are you doing with stock you overpaid for?
When he says it’s stabilized the look on Marco’s face tells it’s total BS
Three years ago I could afford a Rolex and an Omega... that was before my grocery bill in the house tripled buying the exact same items we did right before and during covid, the electric bill doubled with no more usage than the year before, the natural gas bill doubled, the home owners insurance tripled with no claims filed, the car insurance went up 35%..... what used to be a pretty good disposable income in this household, has been KILLED by inflation and necessities... this speak of a boom is insane.... prices once they go up never go down... our household necessities have drastically killed disposable income.
Move to Texas!
Then stop voting Democrats in. But’ it’s a forgone conclusion the left is destroying the world, everywhere, not just the USA. It’s already decimated Europe. Going forward only rich people will be able to comfortably own multiple watches. Also, some prices just aren’t coming back down. So, get used to it, or make more money. Oh, and don’t vote for Joe.
at least you still have a job and a roof over your head. Watches aren't so important in the grand scheme of things lmao
@@AlecHilliard5move to TX but leave the liberals politics behind.
If people didn't spend so much money and buy stuff beyond their means and drive up demand we probably would not have had the inflation we see today but at the same time the government wanted the inflation.
Who wants to spend fifteen thousand dollars on a watch that could possibly be fake
Why would you believe a word he has to say, or any like him? This is embarassing.
Would be nice for Marco to get his points across without being constantly interrupted by Captain “Loves his own voice”.
😂
Uber rude 😉
I fucking hate when he says "Audemars Piguet" he can't stop saying it in every video
They both like to talk and hear themselves it’s a battle
😂
if you think these prices are surprising, wait until mid-2024
I feel bad for the people who were dumb enough to buy watches for twice list thinking that they werent going to loose money on it because it was all hype
Why? Bunch of know-nothings that thought they could flip for a quick buck. Knew nothing about the biz. A fool and his money are soon parted.
I don’t feel bad for anyone dumb enough to pay over retail for anything. They deserve what they get for driving up prices for the last 3 years.
Always buy from AD. You’ll never regret it.

I think that alot of watch buyers are realizing that the prices are inflated through the dealer to dealer trades, primarily thanks to the transparency provided through CZcams and your videos. I expect that watch prices will continue to decrease given the education that you have provided for the buyers. This has no impact on the margins for grey market dealers; however, it may have an impact on volume.
This team does seem like the most trustworthy bunch, and plans to be doing fair business for a long time.
No doubt over time prices will increase due to rising production costs, materials, distribution, wages, taxes etc. But the levels seen in 2021 and 2022 and early 2023 are simply down to a mixture of hype for a captive audience, and people having money to spend
Covid is over, watch CZcams, grey Market has had its day. How many times can we hear the same old same old, "slips under the cuff", "very rare", "very accurate ", "very wearable dimensions", "fantastic power reserve", "exquisite craftsmanship ", "in house movement"..... blah blah blah, We have heard it all before too many times.
Transparency through CZcams? Your looking to virtual reality for facts? ALL content on social media exists for one reason and one reason alone, clicks, clicks equal money and whatever content generates that is what will be put out. If you want to know what's going on in the real world you have to actually go out there kid, don't look for reality in this place, nothing is real here
More pain to come! Probably another 20-25% drop from here imo
Good
The lullaby boys - perfect bla bla and more bla
Exercise patience & the timepiece of your dreams will be available at the AD. Mine just did with no purchase history. I’ve gotten 3 calls just in the last 5 weeks. Normalcy has returned.
They havent stabilized yet! The bottom will be 30 percent under retail by the end of 2024
DIDi hear the word TRUST can you explain that word to me
the grey market artificially changed the market. now that grey market is crashing, the market is returning to normal. Shop at ADs don't overspend
Before, you go grey market to get lower price to ADs
This was all caused by AD selling direct to grey market instead of customers. And flippers who were bored during covid. Watch resellers have been around forever, they just rode the wave.
@@TheBajamin watch resellers have been around for ages YES----but they mostly sold watches CHEAPER than new. That trend of upselling and uncharging the prices of new watches is a phony sham, done after watch sellers bought watches, then flipped them, who flipped them again and then Joe XYZ walks in and pays double to triple what the street value of a watch is and thinks its a good deal.
Grey market will always exist, but hopefully it's more REAL than artificial.
Not sure what these guys are talking about. These dips are not reflected on luxury bazaar's offerings.
I genuinely think that regardless of economics, watch hype just lost the interest overall and I think it will never boom as it did in 2020.
I agree. It won't ever come back. Great for watch lovers. ADs can now kiss my arse.
Walked in to new AD and walked out with OP 41 black. An hour later got a call from another AD that my AirKing is ready for a pick up. No history of purchasing with both
epic
I do wonder is LB did over extend during the boom. I would like to see more watch sales on their videos and it’s pretty thin lately. Sales
Must be off a cliff
They are used car salesmen. They’ll do anything to clear their inventory. Never forget these dealers are in for the money 🤣
27:23 The Federal Reserve lowered rates a couple weeks ago? Yeah I don’t think that’s true. They only announced potential rate drops for next year.
They did though. But it was a tiny rate drop. Houses for example were over 7%. Today they are 6.6%.
@@TheBajamin Mortgage rates fluctuate daily. The fed announced potential rate cutes in 2024. They didn’t actually cut any rates. My bank savings interest rates haven’t made a budge lower over the past several months either.
@@TheBajamin mortgage rate isnt interest rate. and 6.6% is 6.5% over the covid rate
@@chrisb-nf7iy I’m aware. The Fed’s do however influence mortgage lenders with their actions of the federal funds rate.
No more Covid money
LB trading between CRM amongst others didn’t help inflate the watch price’s? Don’t blame others like LB just watched it happen:
I was a "covid flipper". I was being offered at least one watch a month in the hype. I made just under £200k. Once I see the prices drop, I pulled out. Didn't lose any money. You can hate me all you want, but if you had the chance to do what I did, I'm sure you would all do the same.
Hope you've told HMRC, any transaction above £6500 can trigger a Suspicious Activity Report to HMRC, you've probably been monitored by their Connect software.
@@GM-ii8gsI’ve been running my “business” from Northern Cyprus :)
The watch market is dead, we will ALL be picking up most Rolex watches below retail price next year in 2024
Hell yeah can’t wait to get the yacht master cheap.SUCKAS PAYING FOR HYPE ISHHHH..
Only if the economy crashes.
I love the Skydweller. My favorite of the Rolex lineup. My love for it is the fact it is an annual calendar. It is not anywhere near my price range but still admire online though.
I picked up a white gold Daytona from my AD a couple of months ago and kind of wish I passed.
My Rolex dealer called last week that I can pick up 2 watches which I ordered last year.🎉
I believe that Rolex realizes that the regular customer is important,👍
Lol they didn’t realize anything. They are hoping you will come back after they spit in your face for 3 years.
Tell Rolex to keep it, you won't be the first to wake them from their trance.
Rolex doesn’t have to realize one damn thing. 100 people lined up for every watch they produce.

What about the Skydweller 336934? that is 60% over MSRP. y'all said all skys are at or below list
My friend bought a new Submariner from an AD for $10,200 out the door including tax this year. I saw the receipt.
Thats the list price right? AD's will (should) always sell at list.
But which did he buy?... a steel sub RRP is $9100, a steel sub date is RRP is $10250...

Just wondering as someone in Canada... a Rolex Sub two tone blue is $18,500. There is no discount and still a waiting period. Is it worth the price and should I buy it in the US or even the Caribbean?
That hoodie guy is so rude. Just interupting all the time.
When I started dealing in the 90’s you were getting 15% off steel pieces and 36-38% on gold from AD’s. Of course this may not return but never believe that the bottom is near or at list. There is no magical line that stops the market from moving down further. Also remember that a lot of NIB pieces sold in the US are EU exports without VAT, and again now with the high USD these are even considerably under US retail - especially with added discounts. Will we ever see a steel sub ceramic nib at 6-7k usd? No - market will always absord cheaper steel pieces quickly. But no reason that a 18k solid sub can’t be trading hands at 30k (nib) a year from now….
meaning will still go down?
biggest problem is B2B guys flipping to each other. prices will continue to go down.
My Christmas present to myself is having the day to relax and binge watch your videos. Thee best present thank you so much
It is all about how many TRUE end buyers there are. The market was inflated huge due to dealers just passing back and forth. Once the end buyers stabilize - prices will reflect that.
How come no one is talking about the titanium yacht master 14k list 40k grey market…. I want to know more about that reference
How can grey dealers sell some Rolex models less than retail? Even if they're getting them direct from the AD via the back door then the AD won't discount them so how are the greys making there 10%+ profit?
I thought the same thing
By buying low from desperate sellers for very low prices. They are basically living off others desperation
For anyone wondering, the 124060 41mm sub no date is selling below retail!
Thoughts about the Yacht Master roduim?
I want to see the white gold Pepsi start coming on a jubilee bracelet. I think it would sell like hot cakes
Green dial skydweller under retail? Not on your website. Its way over
@13:17
“The two-tone black dial is something you shouldn’t get at retail but if you get it on the secondary market you’ll essentially pay retail plus tax” What?? Not making too much sense..😵💫
I don't think there's going to be a boom. Not for a while, people are holding onto their cash now. All I want is new Polar Explorer II at retail.
Yeah I doubt it too, unless Rolex stops making new watches. There’s no reason to buy anything for more than it should be. Especially something as useless as steel mechanical watch.
People should buy watches because they want to wear it and not speculate it'll go up like some type of investment.
@@deezknuts07You did not need to link wearing a watch with buying it as an investment.
There is nothing wrong with buying a watch not for investment, and still not wearing it 😉
Buying for investment is also up to the person buying it. It’s their money and they likely do not try to tell you what to do with yours.
@@deezknuts07Can you clarify how many times someone has to wear a watch they buy with their money that they earned.
Does wearing indoors count or do they have to wear it outside of their house?
What do you think about a presidential Rolex 36 inch millimeter 1988 with aftermarket baguette diamond bezel for 22,000? Thanks.

Its to bad that this market wouldn't t work in my part of the world I'd love to do that kind of business started loving watches about three years ago and your channel also HAPPY HOLIDAYS from eastern Canada
116619lb or 126719blro - about same price?
Why are both looking so tense?
Love to see a video like this on AP!
ofcourse you want none of us to wait on a waitlist…. you want the business but for some brands its higher than retail to buy from you 😊
Are there any used Rolex at $5000.00, comparing with Grand Seiko price point
The Fed hasn't lowered the funds rate yet. It's been forecasted by the March 20th meeting that they may.
The new rose gold sky-dweller with the green/blue dial is stunning, I'm not quite sure why people arent dying to get one. Great dial color that compliments the rose gold so well.
I guarantee that will change when interest rates are cut next year. IIMO prices are bound to rise across the board next year
that one still trades way over list, it's weird that these guys didn't mention it despite having it in the picture when they talked about the 336 ref
don't mean to burst your bubble but look at historical charts. when interest rates start to drop is when all the markets, legacy stock, real estate, everything crashes. you can verify very easily. the pain is about to start@@samuelburton5576
@@samuelburton5576 not sure how that changes much best case scenario would be 1% drop

Is it a right move to buy a Stainless Steel Yacht Master with Blue Dial 💙 and Red Seconds Hand ❤️ (126622) from a Rolex AD at retail list price ?
Non flippers should buy what they like and want and not try to make money. The problem is the Grey market guys won’t give you what the watch is worth and selling to someone you don’t know can be a disaster.
I am waiting for a day when these grey market dealers sell below retail price
Are there any Air kings at retail?
You guys are wrong about the sky dweller, is actually easier to adjust the time than other annual calendars and works timers…
Not in Japan Not in January 2024 . Have been to 6 different AD’s in Tokyo , Hiroshima, Kyoto and Osaka and there’s nothing and I mean nothing available new in the green box . There’s plenty of used Rolex watches to be found for insane money ie pandemic prices still .
How many watch salespeople does LB still keep?
I unsubscribed to LB and watch Peter Piccolino. I understand it's a business, but your Blood Family will be with you and your Job Family will dump you on your sales.
Watch prices have stabilised if your buying and are falling if your selling!
Paying more than the AD’s retail price is utter rip off.
Great conversation. Ho ho ho Merry Christmas 🎄❤️
who gets the flick next at LB because the market has corrected
Hype creates hype but when the sky is falling continually, nobody cares after the first ten messages. The market is whatever the market men say it is. Deals are still out there, and patience is your friend.
Green skydweller is still 27k when retail is 16k.
Roman I love your videos. BUT. I want SALES. sales, sales, sales. Show me more deals lol!!!
This also proves that authorized dealers DO sell their watches out the backdoors. If you can get a basic no date sub at retail in the grey mrkt, who the hell will pay msrp and then turn around and sell it to the grey at a lost!? Where do you think the grey is getting the watch from and sell at retail!?
I thought exactly the same but why would a grey dealer accept mediocre pieces fton the AD and sell at the sane price as retail because with there overheads the greys would actually making a loss surely?

How are there so many fresh dated new watches well under retail…..?
Damn , I wanna see the gun collection !!!!!
Concerning your comments about the Sky Dweller. I am a proud owner of 5 Sky Dwellers. So I guess you know where I am going with this comment. But I will go no further. I enjoy your content. A worn 6 yr old Rolex YM rose gold watch without glidelock is cheaper than a brand new unworn one with glidelock … *shocker* 😂
I rarely wear my rollie anymore - love my hulk, but man, lot of people not doing great. Sometimes you gotta read the room a bit, go with something a little quieter. I can't think i'm the only one who's realizing that
(Also been followed to the atm a couple times which doesn't feel great either...) For those of us who like watches, but don't live a lifestyle that maybe goes with them in a poor economic environment, also not great.
Looking at picking up a JLC, nomos, even a Tudor .. just some lower options//quietier options
