I’m shocked that more people aren’t talking about these guys; especially with all the press around JadaToys finally making an affordable 6inch SF line, I thought people would go crazy for a similar thing with Tekken. All I know is I need this guy for the Smash collection; I’d prefer an sh Figuarts figure but this will suffice for now.
Totally agree but I also think there's a lot of reluctance cos of bandai's work on the Dragonstars Line which is subpar compared to these , there is a big jump in quality and yeah sure there not on Jada's Level but they are really good figures
These are a huge step up in engineering from Anime Heroes though, so I wonder how they may iterate or improve in future waves! It doesn't seem their factories have the ability to make any sort of pinless tech or insert joints though, which is strange. Hopefully that gets sorted out in the future.
Great review of these Tekken figures Brian. I want to like these figures so much as Tekken is my favourite kicky punchy game, but they are just not vibing with me at all. I think the bar is just so high now from lines like Classified, Marvel Legends, Action Force and Street Fighter II, that anything new to the market really has to be top tier.
Yeah i totally see where your coming from if these had came out 3/4 years ago theyd be game changers but the way 1.12 figures have developed lately there is so much amazing stuff , I think these guys will get there eventually though cos there is a good starting point here with these tekken figures with them being Namco I'd hope they do Soul Calibre aswell

Maybe they will in the future that would be really cool but I get the feeling they wanted to come straight out the door with the big hitters same release schedule as storm collectibles so far
They took the smart approach and went with a more recognizable version of the character. Especially seeing as this is their first outing with Tekken figures. It's like if you're making Spider-Man figures for the first time, you don't want to start with something like a Noir suit. You'd obviously start with the good ol red and blue first.
I think the looseness although annoying it's not the worst I've had he can still hold poses and what not , I'm really looking forward to getting hands on with those Jada Street Fighter figures to measure them up together, but if your looking for a non storm cheap alternative these are great in general

There not all bad I like the 2 I have but in saying that having recently just got my 1st jada figures they pale in comparison but that is a massive bar now , I had been comparing these to bandais previous line the dragonstars from which they are an improvement but they really need to big time step it up now
i think it being kinda loose sucks but is to be expected from bandai's cheaper figures since it is common to have defects in them while not to extreme it is quite common i will still pick these up because i can't afford the storm ones
Look really poor compared to the new Street Fighter figures. Having visible pins is a fail in 2023. Going to pass and hope Storm releases a v2 of these figures so I can pick them up

I hope we get more of these, maybe King, Nina, Yoshimitsu etc. I have wanted Tekken figures since I was a child.
