Funfact whenever golie keeps saving amazing goals no one apruciates him but if a striker scores tap in everyone loves him if a golie conceades 2 goals everyone starts to hate him but they should keep that in mind that goalkeeper is the hardest position
I remember back when I was a goalkeeper in grade 3, just before the tournament was about to start my class was warming up. One of my friends shot the ball too hard and I caught it in an awkward way that caused my finger to bend and made me unable to play for keeper. I still have ptsd from it.
Goalkeeper gloves do suffer from wear and tear just as any other thing but it’s insanely annoying when the gloves end up messed up after a short period of time because gloves are expensive, for a good pair they’re upwards of 50$ or a lot more. Usually turf causes more damage to gloves than dirt and grass though.
