Okay I have a theory that fixes the whole timeline issue, when Tony snapped at the end of endgame he didn't destroy Thanos and his army he sent them back to their place in time. This explains why at the end of Age of Ultron he puts on The Gauntlet and goes "fine I'll do it myself", it also explains how he knows who Tony is in Infinity War.
That could logically be true
That is the most someone has explained that and that I actually thinks you are correct.
Cool theory, but it doesn't make sense, since that's not how time travel works in the mcu. The thanos from 2014 was from a different timeline then the one that we knew from infinity war.
Not bad. However, if he sent them back in time they would have vanished instantly, and we'd hear a series of pops and booms as baddies of various sizes disappear and air rushes in to fill the void. Your theory is workable though. If Tony wanted I'm sure adding the "dust" effect to the elimination of Thanos and co would be an option.
@@warpdriveby it's just that he was so adamant about not changing the past, that I don't think he would have risked it
I get chills every time I hear Cap say “Assemble”
Same!
NGL I’d love a short or something of Cap returning all the stones and being with Peggy, since like he’d see the Red Skull again and there’d prob be some good stuff to give us just a bit more of Cap
I think it’s be a cool Disney+ show. Like each episode is each infinity stone being returned or something
If Cap took the soul stone back to Red Skull, shouldn't that restore Gamora? A soul for a soul?
@@glennruscher4007 No because he’d be returning the stone to an alternative dimension. That’s why what they do in the past doesn’t affect their future.
I bet what happened after Cap returned the stones, the TVA resets the timelines he returned them to. The reason they didn’t reset the timeline where he lives out his life with Peggy is because he was supposed to grow old and pass the shield on to Sam. He probably lived in that branch and kept the quantum suit, then after Peggy died and his kids grew up he returned to 2023 where he can follow his written destiny.
I need the clip of him arriving on Asgard and walking up to Thor to return his hammer before squirting the Aether back into Jane Foster and warping out of existence.
39:19 I love how Hudson picks up on how very involved and complicated Captain America's off screen actions must have been when he is was time traveling for the supposed results to make any sense!?!? You did an excellent job presenting perhaps the most complicated and elaborate character arc in all of cinematic history.
I’d argue the elevator is worthy. It lives a selfless existence, always making everyone else’s life easier but never it’s own. It only works for everyone else and never complains. Sounds like the elevator is quite worthy.
All hail the worthy & noble elevator ... lol.
Isn’t that basically every tool created by humans

Theory: When Nick Fury was "Killed" by Bucky, Talos (The skrull from Captain Marvel) went to earth to take fury's place and sent the real fury to a skrull base to heal with their advanced technology
But was that the real Fury at Tony's funeral?
@@joec7217 Nope. Fury Skrull😊👉👈😊
Talos calls Fury at the end of Far From Home
Idiots,Nick fury is in space and never left so the skrull was fury the whole time
After endgame the real nick fury decided to take a vacation, so he sent a skrull to disguise himself as him in spider-man far from home to give Peter parker/ Spider-Man, tony starks glasses called Edith. The skrull who disguised himself as Nick Fury called him in the far from home post credit scene to tell him the dangers in the events of the film, so he decides it’s time to get back to work!

I love the theory of thanos killing Steve with that punch than reversing it with the time stone! Great video
I personally don’t like it because it’s clear that the time stone only affected vision. The theory I believe is that he got Thor’s power by lifting mjonir long ago because whoever lifts it gets the power of Thor according to Odin. So yeah that’s what I believe.
Btw Jesus can save you from death and science and history supports it
I know there are some obvious choices, like detailing Tony Stark's journey or some other character which got a lot of spotlight, but it would be interesting if you wait a bit for the Black Widow movie to come out and make a video on her. A lot of her past is hidden in shadow, so a nice review tying that movie to the overall MCU would be great!
Can you imagine if Steve woke up in 2020 instead? He'd be all "Coronavirus is the new Hydra"
Everyone would be like what is hydra

Here I am thinking “I spent 3 weeks watching the MCU movies in chronological order on Disney plus when I could have watched a 42min and 17 second CZcams video” 😂😂😂
but the movies are just to good to miss out on
Nah you have to watch the movies to fully understand.
The movies will make you fully understand about everyone, I meant the Avengers...
I can understand why you believe the Cap dying theory, but here's my counter: Thanos is only rewinding Vision, just like Doctor Strange had practiced on the apple, and not the entirety of time. Im pretty sure Wanda watches him rewind Vision too, and he doesnt pull Wanda out of the rewind like Strange once did with Wong, so thats how you know hes only affecting Vision.
But Bruce in Hulkbuster is embedded in the giant stone by Thanos. We see him later when Thanos has snapped his finger. He comes out too, so time is rewinded for Bruce too as it is for Rogers.
Wasnt there like a huge expolsion that affetcetd the forest or something, rewinded aswell?
Because chris Evans contract with marvel is up i think making an animated series of cap returning the stones and then it ending with him living with Peggy just like in the film.
This would truly work without messing up canon and it would be a good last thing to show for caps legacy in the mcu
I'd like to see him renew the contract and show him living his life and continuing to keep America safe, by renewing the show Agent Carter and having them work side by side. That was a great show all around in my opinion, ended too soon and the addition of Rogers would only make it better and more popular.
In Infinity War, Thanos was ambushed, had taken quite a beating before he and Stark fought one to one, and was fighting somewhat defensively without the intent to kill. In Endgame, we're dealing with hero's that have been out of practice for five years, just worked a full day of Superheroing, and are now facing a much more angry, bloodthirsty Thanos who is fully intent on killing every last one of them. That's why the fights went so differently.
Feel happy about steve having a normal life with an crazy life.
A not an
What
What about all the lives he saved ? No , Captain America would never be that selfish since he made a difference . Poor wrap up of the character nice only in a cutesy way.

For those confused.
1) he thought he was a fool for not liking the suit.
2) he now likes the suit.
3) he hates his past self for thinking the suit was bad.
Not that confusing. Hope this helps.
@@Gundam_JAY no no no I say that I’m a fool for thinking I was the only one with that opinion
But thank you
The Thanos from the past is way stronger than the current timeline's Thanos as he was not hurt by the usage of Infinity stones.
That's not why and i wouldn't say Infinity War Thanos was weak because he wasn't he was just holding back most of the time and wasn't as hotheaded as he was in 2014, Endgame Thanos wasn't holding back he fought with all his might and was ready to kill the Avengers without hesitation Infinity War Thanos wasn't intending in killing the Avengers besides Hulk and Ironman.
but you are right after he snapped he became weak but he wasn't weak during most of infinity war.
Thanos wasn’t weak in Infinity War, he was purposely trying not to kill any of the avengers as he wanted the stones to decide who dies and not him.
@@LethalMonarch make sense. Thank you
A really very, very good chronology. Only thing I think you left out (or maybe just didn't emphasize too much) is that, as we learn in Civil War, a huge amount of the conflict between Cap and Stark was rooted in Stark resenting Cap for being his father's hero. Part of Tony's arc is learning to deal with that, which of course is made more complicated by Tony learning that Cap kept quiet about Bucky killing Howard all those years ago. I think you hover around this, but don't quite a put a bow on it, so to speak. But an exceptional job, as ever. Well done.
ALSO, a theory, of sorts. *What if the Soul Stone can't be returned?* By the looks of it, Vormir seems to generate (or materialize) a stone, the stone, only after a sacrifice is made. A new stone after each sacrifice, as it were. And what if, unlike the other stones, it can't simply be returned? What does Steve do with it? (Maybe live out his ideal life, dancing with Peggy in the Soul World?) Yes, I'm postulating the possibility that we could have TWO Soul Stones: one that Hawkeye acquires with Widow's sacrifice, but which Cap cannot return; and another which Thanos acquires with Gamora's murder, but which Thanos destroys on The Garden.
This, of course, could have big ramifications in two big ways: one, in relation to Black Widow and her fate; and two, in relation to the creation of another offshoot timeline/dimension. On the latter, it's at least theoretically possible that we have two branched realities beyond the main one. One created by Loki scarpering with Space Stone; another created by undestroyed-because-unreturnable Soul Stone.
This is pretty fanciful, I know, and it would make things quite complicated, but it could also be a way for the MCU to work around to bringing Black Widow back, if they really want to.
Cap isn't 100 certain. He said himself: "I didn't know that it was him". Cap suspected, and deep down knew that this was most likely the case, but he never really wanted to know for sure. That's why he said that maybe he was protecting himself when he didn't tell Tony that his parents were killed by Hydra, because if he had and Tony had investigated, well, Steve feared that he wouldn't like the answer he would find.
That's exactly what I was jus tryna tell a friend.. I couldn't have said it better.
Honestly, I really don't get what is so complicated about the concept. Or about Hydra being able to identify Stephen Strange as potential future threat. Or how the Tesseract made if from the Red Skull over Howard Stark to Shield and finally to Fury.
@@swanpride People either jus read the surface of shit or they think too much about it either way it's not that hard to understand XD I got everything u said in the above comment jus from how Cap said "I didn't kno it was him" I dunno somethin about how he delivered that line jus felt like an excuse ya kno? Like one of the excuses he was tellin himself to hopefully somehow not believe that it was Bucky that bodied his old buddy Howard. Even tho he knew deep down that was most likely the truth, he probably wanted to believe that maybe one of the other Winter Soldiers did it. Either way he didn't wanna be the one to tell Tony, which makes sense, becuz if he did n like u said Tony investigated.. I think not only was Steve fearful that Tony wouldn't like the answer but also that Tony would go by himself to find Bucky n fuckin murder him before Cap could get to him.
So true! Sometimes there is so much subtext just in the way something is acted. Like the scene when T'Challa gives Bucky his new arm...you just know that he doesn't want to fight anymore, but he knows that he is needed, so he will.
I don't think that Steve was worried that Tony would react the way he did, I think that Steve just felt better NOT knowing for sure that Bucky killed one of his friends. Like he later wrote in the letter, he wanted to protect himself.
@@swanpride Indeed! He jus looked at the arm n was like "Awh Sheit here we go again" You jus knew he wasn't wit it. 🤣 N well I'm sure he wasn't expectin Tony to straight up murder him but he knew the reaction was gonna be awful whether or whether not it was Bucky. N he was tryna spare himself from that.

Cap couldn't of "practiced" with the hammer after AoU because Thor was off world between then and _Infinity War._
@Giovanni Roman He didn't know whether he could lift it before then, did he? So why bother trying? Its an interesting thought, but it doesn't solve the question so much as makes you ask how he would have known he could even lift it to practice before AoU.
Isn’t whoever lifts the hammer gets the power of Thor so maybe he just had the same knowledge of Thor

@Dylan Trewick I mean if you've been their since "the first avenger" you should know their love bond before he crashed that plane
She had her own spin-off show.
I think that Steve Rogers was always Peggy's husband. I think the timeline they are in is the timeline he goes back in, otherwise how could you explain old man Rogers coming back without teleporting back? He was always there. And like they said in the time travel, you can't change the past and have it change your future because that past is now your future. So he went back put all the stones back, and then just went to Peggy's house. They made up a story on how he was a world war II survivor things to Captain america, and then he lives out his days till later meet Sam and Bucky on the bench. It's a loop in time, but it's the main timeline.
Steve says he didn’t know it was him in the scene where they all find out, so he knew it was Hydra and that it was a good chance Bucky that killed Tony’s parents
It would’ve been a coincidence if he was in the 101st airborne division

My headcanon is that Steve got the Ancient One's help in putting the Space Stone back in the Tesseract.

I thought that perhaps Cap couldn't lift the hammer fully as he wasn't being completely truthful to Tony. Both ways make sense I'd say.
That's what I thought I thought at the time he couldn't lift it yet cause he wasn't exactly pure of heart yet
You can either be worthy or you're not. There's no in between.
When cap lines were "get those stones as far away as possible" he is use to catching his shield with like a moving back motion at that part he stopped his arm from moving
You dont know how happy i am that you posted again. Made my day!
I would've followed cap, he was a great leader and as inspiring as it's possible to be. Chris evans really is captain america, I mean can you picture absolutely anyone else being a believable cap? I can't, mr evans is cap and it sucks we aren't getting anymore of him
Here’s how I see it, in Cap’s POV, the events of the Avengers in 2012, Age of Ultron, and IW/Endgame along with Winter Soldier and Civil War will always happen because he created that time loop. From OUR PoV, as we go away from Cap’s story, the timeline from 2023 to the future will continue with the main Avengers disbanded due to death or “retirement” and seeing what happens after Endgame while Cap will always experience the events of Endgame and such in a cyclical pattern.
Steve is a lot stronger than peak human condition he can lift 2204 pounds in the MCU so imagine what he can do in the comics

How can Steve Rogers have two souls, instead of just one? Can on Steve Rogers go to Hell and the other to Heaven?
So many questions...
But the reason why you can know cap didn't die there is because after the stone was destroyed thanos only goes back to probably 1-5 seconds before it was destroyed and cap got punched like 1-2 mins before the stone was destroyed so if he did die that would not have effected him coming back to life.
This guy is underrated
Great video... I have a theory about Spiderman in the MCU, ( it has to do with the whole MCU/ Marvel Studios and Sony's split custody with Spiderman and all of his "Spider posse" ) and it so you remember in Spiderman Homecoming? So in the beginning of the movie, as they gave a brief origin story about Adrian Toomes and how he became the Vulture and why he hates Tony Stark and so on and so forth? Of course you do as everyone who has watched the movie and follows the MCU like we do thought WTF when it read "8 years later" following the attack of New York well I don't think it was a mistake at all, how could the MCU make such a noticeable mistake? I believe that Spider-Man homecoming and Spider-Man far from home take place in a separate universe as Earth 9999 or in other terms the main marvel timeline. And they are going to address it in Spider-Man 3 no way home.
He went back and released all cap from The dairy plane and then went to the soul rolled in Keefe at the stone by sacrificing himself for black widow which is why I think we see her sitting in the low-key trailer because she’s stuck on vormir.
Holy shit I never thought of the cap dying theory
But Thor did know he just played along so that it would be a surprise to everyone & also his secret weapon . Cause if he dies at least cap could take the mantle 🤷🏾♂️
