Still remember doing this route in late 80s with taking Mahalakshmi express till Miraj, having an omlette breakfast at Miraj and taking the meter gauge train to Goa.

The RAC and Wait List tickets are farce. These should be abolished. Please write to the MInistry of Railways. Even the side seats should be removed, making passengers to have a pleasant journey. If u had bribed the TC u would have got a sleeper .
