You're great Scott, I really admire your work. Since you analyse stage performance and gestures, I think you should check translations of foreign songs like this. Because Şebnem Ferah songs always have a stong message and her gestures actually convey the meaning of those sentences, as well as her tonality and punctuation. That adds a whole another layer to her amazing music. She's an amazing singer but also an extraordinary songwriter as well!

These years were Ferah's heydays in Turkish mainstream music industry. After her girlband rocker days, she really stood out as a mixture of pop-rock, alternative and the nu-metal in early 2000's and really captivated the gen X with her sexually aggressive feminine aura, really strong voice and successful-for-her-genre lyrics.
This concert was a very significant live performance in the memory of everyone who're between ages 40 and 20 today, in Turkey.
Though I think Şebnem Ferah started to rest on his laurels, after this era and with the beginning of 2010's, her technique started to dwindle and songs became formulaic and boring, and more and more targeting the female university students than an entire youth

4:30 you are great at reacting, you are correct sir. But at the same time the reason is most Turkish speakers do emphasize those sounds. 5:20 that umursamaz-sın part is not in original album version. If I am not mistaken she just sings it normally like , "umursamazsııınnn". I think she has her reasons why she changed here in the concert version for effect maybe or just wanted to something different on stage?
