I was absolutely amazed when I saw the huge influx of players joining TDS. I hadn’t witnessed such high numbers in ages! (Exaggerating) I couldn’t even get in the queue, so I decided to wait for two to four hours before starting my grind.
One of the most amusing moments occurred when I selected trio mode, and unintentionally, there were five of us in total. This bizarre scenario repeated itself four times in a row, with different players, resulting in a double pumpkin loot drop each time.

Warden is really good on this mode. Just spam wardens to lvl one and place like 3 lvl 2 golden pyros. Next part is slightly more complicated but it’s basically just wardens
Next part is just lvl 2 mini spam
you can beat it with normal pyro commander and warden isnt hard at all
I'm really hoping that this event is gonna be good. I'm really frustrated though, because a lot of rare skins from 2019 and 2020 got rereleased, but hopefully everyone will be happy that all of those skins are essentially free for the taking. Happy Halloween, everyone!

A good way to beating the act is that one person places level 1 wardens then someone else place down level 3 cowboys placing down five and setting two to strongest. By then when the next part comes, someone places commander and dj then just place a couple of level 3 accels. It should be a easy game.

soloing act 1 is possible! what do you need is elf camp and in scene two get lvl 1 elf camps and you get thousands of cash if elves hit the boss
my loadout was: Golden pyro, Golden scout, Golden crook boss, Elf Camp, Accelerator.
When you first load spam scouts (get some few in the middle) and upgrade the scouts to lvl 2
(scout count should be six)
After you get 6 lvl 2 scouts get a golden lvl 3 pyro in the middle (what i mean is in the front field in the middle spot that also connects the entrance and the curve)
After getting golden pyro get lvl 3 crook boss 1 by 1 (1 is enough)
Scene 2:
Get a lvl 3 pyro by setting it to last since i think its better than farthest
Get 2 maxed golden crook bosses
Get 2 lvl 1 elf camps
Max pyro
Get accels and max them 1 by 1
And thats how you win
the time is less than 13 minutes

you can solo this with level 2 golden soldier spam and support (DJ + chaining) at the end, with extra money you can use it to upgrade a commander to max and then just start working on soldiers in the middle of the map

Good units for Act 1: Motar (crowd control and good for killing ghosts without HD and no stun only in part 2 of act 1) DJ & commander (obv) and also Ace pilot (No stun and crowd control)
Honestly act 1 was very easy (which admittedly, makes sense since it is just the introduction to the event), I beat it first try. Honestly I think solo is pretty fun a much bigger challenge

Motar is a good tower for this map as it is really good with crowd control cuz of the splash damage
I like how when tds was dry there were only like 3k people playing, but once this update came, within a few minutes, IT ALREADY HAD OVER 50K PLAYERS.

No joke, I heard about the new update like 20 mins ago, hopped in a game for the first time in 2 months and first try beat the event
I did some testing, and a pretty good easy strat for ppl is running cowboy as a starting tower, just kinda, relys on ur team mates having a brain tho, first let whoever has cowboy farm up money, for most efficiency place 2 lvl 2 cowboys (very important for team mates to let you farm with cowboy) have your team mates spam lvl 1 militants after round 4, then you can play a minigunner around mid 5-6 upgrade it to lvl 2 for hidden and rev along with dmg (very important or else you wont beat mini bosses) then just have ur team spam more militants to beat round 10, you can put down more stuff if you'd like, then after the reset you should have around 14.5k-16k do what you'd like with that money, usually I get one lvl 3 mini and do 4-5 cowboys then after immediately place pyro in the corner of the building, then spam lvl 3 minis, and maybe put in a support or two in there. Loadout is mini, pyro, cowboy, dj, commander.
You need to be in a trio btw

The coins showing up after a match isn’t a bug (I don’t think it is but I could be wrong) it’s a feature. It shows up normally too.

I’ll be honest I tried the gold scout spam from the solar eclipse strat on night 1 it works the exact same and you’d need just two or three golden soilders and it works perfectly and bring other overpowered towers for the next waves when the map changes
Also works with wardens,though you need some help from your teammates

It's sad that one of the moderators leaked the maps and bit gameplay like 2 weeks ago
if you dont have golden pyro i would reccomend using executioner as a replacement it is very good

Its quite simple for the first part you need.
2 Millitants at level 2.
1 Golden Pyros at level 2
and some Wardens you will also need 2 minigunners (no golden perk)
for the second part just spam level 3 accels.
Getting a golden pyro level 3 in the first and second part of the map can help tremendously cause of the defense melting, which can make the cobalt guard lose 80% defense
i beated act 1 first try duo with one of my friend after encountering problem with the match making system which make me disconnect whenever joining a match . it was actually quite easy i just put 3 gpyro 3 commander while my friend place some gmini and a dj
I like how pyro, mini and ranger are op now
All I did was get someone else to join me then we placed down pyro, saved for level 3, the other guy placed golden scouts and a militant then I placed mini then just spam mini and accel for the 2nd part to easily win and chain commanders. Also play a pyro in the 2nd part as well
I never bought pyro until this event its actually pretty good for early
Man night one was so easy okay there where golden tower (moslty soldier or pyro) but if you go with a team it's easy xD

There is a way to bypass the elf camp glitch if you wanna use it. You can use elf camp till wave 9 end and the cutscene plays where everything moves, you have to delete it before it plays and then you can use it again
I'm just gonna use it after wave 9 tbh
or just change it to farm

the event for me wasnt glitched but my pc couldnt handle the cutscenes and it lagged me out a lot, but surprisingly i still won on my first/second attempt
I recommend to win act one with these towers:ACE PILOT G PYRO AND ACCELERATOR
by the way I think why there no sound for the cutscene for you is that the music setting is turn off since that happen to me.

I won first try after getting the player model error 2 times before even playing, also, while grinding for the ugc i got stuck on wave 16 and had to leave to get out
Warden and mini is very important in as warden is good for 1st phase while mini is for 2nd phase to complete to kill 20K boss
my friends and I got glitched out of the executioner axe hopefully we can get it. We grind 1 of my friends with us got it we didn’t with the bug and we played 40 matches with only getting the pumpkin not even the helmet rng sucking rn
Bro I had that glitch on pizza party. We were on wave 36 until the zombies when through the path and we couldn’t shoot them for some reason. They then went in base but we take no damage. Wox the fox didn’t even spawn! Tds needs to fix this.

same thing happened to us yesteday cutsene failed at 9 and we had to restart.. but we won we used 3 engis and i used engi and accel. dj medic and we won
FUN FACT: g cowboy on wave 0-9 can produce mass amounts of money. Because of that when everyhitng is refunded you get around 15k
