@@Brandon_J inexperienced gun people normally don't. These type of techniques aren't really common tho. It's unrealistic now with modern age weapons to use the "fanning" technique, but it was huge back in the Western days and in cowboy shooting competitions.

I think that's why he starts off in that weird position. His holsters is also not strapped directly to his thigh. The belt is customized to keep the barrel as far away from his thigh as possible.

I’m a Dealer at an exclusive Poker Room and I probably have the cleanest best looking pitch in Vegas. Throwing a card where your want it to go and with speed is very hard, but it’s possible, so practice makes perfect almost, some technical coordination required as well.
I would have loved to see a super slow motion of the card slicing through the celery. Was there any kind of deformation of eother object? When the card all but sliced the second stalk of celery, seeing the card pass through ultra slow would have been interesting.

That's because a single action revolver doesn't require you to pull the trigger every time you fire, you just need to hold it down and the action will move on it's own after the bullet is fired and the hammer is cocked again.
