I SPOKE TO INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER CARE OF FOSSIL IN 'TAIWAN', THEY SAID RED LINE STICKERS ARE NOT THE ISSUE. I CAN BE TRANSPARENT OR WITH REDLINE. IT IS FOR PROTECTION.
THEY SAID THEY HAVE TO CHECK THE MACHINE TO CHECK THE GENUINENESS OF THE PRODUCT.
OVERALL I WON'T SUGGEST YOU YO BUY EXPENSIVE WATCHES ONLINE.
SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.
Red line does not mean anything it just means that it’s a new watch and you have to remove and when u show us your friends fossil i can appreciate (dont speak your language) that you seems to compare two differents fossil weights. FS4552 it’s heavier. Good video but it is not fake. I have bought in the official Naples Florida fossil and some references brought the red line.
Tnx for this information coz just 2 days back I bought one chronograph n it has red line and I was worried about that as these people are telling it's fake if it has a red line.
I called fossil and they confirmed that red line on the sticker at the back is for online purchases. Also you can always call fossil and tell them the seller name and they will confirm if it's their seller partner or not . Simple !!

I bought a Tommy Hilfiger watch from Flipkart (RetailNet seller). The price was almost 2k lower than store - that's why bought it online. It came with open box delivery. A day before delivery we went to the Titan store to check out the watch physically and to look at the box.
On getting the watch, during inspection found a few things:
Box printing was not the same as store one - looked much cheaper
The watch was packed in a generic big plastic bag
There was a tag with correct item code and price, but when I scanned the bar code, it took me to a random site (not watch related)
Watch itself looked okay but was much lighter than the store version
On shaking the watch, it made a lot of noise, as if something was loose inside of it
The warranty card was made of really thick cardboard but felt very cheap
The booklet had silly mistakes such as words not having space between them
I ended up refusing the delivery. Didn't know that Flipkart is selling first copy through their official seller. This is quite concerning.

If any doubt is there simply call the brand's customer service and confirm the seller as well as your product.

I bought one fossil watch ES3838 from Flipkart. barcode shows the correct information about the product. But, has a redline on the lamination what does that mean? The video you posted in the link description says that it should'nt have a redline mark... but, infact the person has disabled the comments section...why? I have bought about 5-6 fossils from flipkart every watch had a red line on them but none of them had a orange sticker on them... it means they want us to recognise easily that this one is fake and another one is real? I will go to a shoppers stop or a lifestyle showroom to confirm this.
Bought one G shock Gravitymaster and One Edifice from flipkart too and got them checked at the showroom
Brother as per my experience which ever watch I brought from The store non of them had red line.
I would recommend to get it checked from the store once. To confirm

I don't think the barcode validates anything. The seller can easily copy the barcode someplace else. I would suggest that you carefully check the packaging and the box contents.
The red line means that the watch has gone through with the quality check.... It does not mean it is fake....
