Love your straight forwardness. I related to so many of the things you said. It is really strange how we accustom ourselves to a 'look.' How we don't easily recognize ourselves without it. On a side note, you were talking about hydration, I didn't know! Thanks. Here are some other supplements, specifically for hair, that a friend told me about. I love the response in the growth and health I have experienced with my hair, probably skin (but I haven't noticed): Glutathione, N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine and BioAstin (Astaxanthin)

You are beautiful inside and out. Our Creator did not make any mistakes giving us this fabulous and unique hair. Love the "gift" of your crown. Thank you for this message. So many need to hear it.
I'm white, I have always felt that black women often have a natural beauty that gets hidden when they wear wigs or fake things. I would say I feel that way in general about women of all races. I've seen plenty of black women without any of these things and thought "gorgeous, wow" but I've never felt that way about the ones who have fake stuff all over.
Your a very beautiful woman, and your hair looks amazing!!!, your hair grows out to the sun, not down to the grown to the dirt. Thank you for sharing, I hope more black women take this step and shed the covering, the weaving and relaxing, it's not meant to be, this is who the creator meant you to be. Your hair is your antenna, don't ever let anyone tell you to burn or cut it off or cover it up, it's your crown, and you are a Queen. 👑🌹🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
I stopped wearing wigs/weaves a couple years ago because it made my hair so dry with consistent breakage . And I learned the importance of loving and respecting my own hair, the result is amazing, now I have beautiful thick hair ❤
Kudos to you !! So many Black women use wigs and weaves as their go tos when our natural hair should be our go to just like other ethnicities ! Wigs / weave etc should just be for a fun switch up
I agree or for someone that has a health issue or something where they can't grow or have healthy hair. Nothing wrong with weave and wigs sometimes though but only to switch it up and do sonething different.
Thank you so much for sharing, love you. I transitioned four years ago and my hair was growing so healthy. Stupid me, I wanted to see how long it was and went back to perming😢. Big mistake. My hair began to fall out and I had to cut it to two inches, yikes. Once again, after a year my hair is growing and looks healthy. But most importantly, I'm loving my hair and I'm loving myself. I feel as though God is speaking to me to embrace who I am. We're unique and have no reason to copy others. God bless you❤😅
Afro hair is a crown. When you love your hair it loves you right back. I am grateful for this video, thank you. You might want to follow some of the natural hair gurus for great diy and other tips. Check out Dellie Bie, Ndima Okike, and many more. Those diy work and cost next to nothing to produce.
I'm caucasian but I was born in Nairobi 😍 and raised in various African countries: Kenya, Zaire (now Democratic Republic of the Congo), Egypt, Ivory Coast, Rwanda. Oh, and Haiti too, which is not Africa. I love the way African people look. And the hair! I've always been sooo jealous! I often watch videos on how to take care of it, as if one morning i could wake up with an afro 😁 I live in Europe now but I still wish I had hair like yours!
I was at work having a heat attack under my wig. It was weird because I wore wigs most of my life. I been natural for years but been hiding my hair. It feels amazing to wash my hair be good. Like I feel free

God help the girl who said that nonsense to you. I’m so happy I wasn’t a wig wearing lady because I know someone who developed both forms of alopecia from wearing wigs without caps.
You’re honestly a beautiful and delightful young lady. Love your story, love your hair. Everything fits properly without the wigs and weaves, and I didn’t realize the damage they do to your scalp and nature hair. Be well 😊.

I love braids on black girls but I feel so unreal when I have them I can’t recognize myself and I have trouble doing the things I do so easily I don’t feel comfy in my skin until I have my natural hair back so the braids end up lasting a week lol. I loved everything about your video
Weaves are difficult as it s not easy to look after your own hair. Wigs can be fun for occasional use for a different look or colour. Not for every day though. Best of all is sporting that beautiful crown you was born with.
Sending you and all my natural hair sisters love and good vibes, whether you still need encouragement and are working on confidently where your natural hair, or whether you’re already there. ❤✨❤️✨❤️✨
Beautiful! You are more beautiful with your own hair!!! It's like see the real you! Also, all black women are Nubian Goddesses and our hair is a source of communication with nature.
I never understand why 4C girls always ruin their natural hair and want every strand to be straight. 4C is so cool and you girls should embrace it, it's so rare to see 4C in all it's beauty lately.
A few reasons is because some black women weren’t taught to take care of it properly, some don’t have time, some just want to switch it up, or some were bullied into straightening because they were bullied for their hair. Not all of us ruin our hair our straighten it because we hate it. We all have different reasons
4C hair is a lot of work and time consuming. This is why I wear weave. To be honest, black hair just takes too long to do because it requires so much work or hassle. This is why we opt for braids. You can just get up and go. Same with wigs and weaves.
