The little nod from Obama at 2:50 was an acknowledgment of respect towards Romney, and because it was so subtle you can tell it was genuine. Look at how far we’ve fallen in a little over ten years. These two men are lightyears ahead of what we have to choose from now. I’d vote for either of them 10,000 times over before I’d vote for the two clowns we just had.

No specifics, no deal. If Romney’s 20% additional across-the-board tax cuts were to be revenue-neutral, why do it at all unless he wants to shift the effective tax burden from the upper class to the middle class deceptively in the guise of tax cuts for all? Since he favors the GOP aim to reduce or eliminate capital gains & inheritance taxes to benefit mainly the wealthy like him, the loss of revenues will need to be offset somehow by the middle class who typically don’t get much of these perks.

President Obama was just incredible. He lays out the points in a deep but very understandable way. Lays out the problem he inherited and what he’s done to fix it. All time great debater.

If Romney values hard work & responsibility, why should passive income like capital gains (his primary income source) be taxed at a much lower rate than those of active wage earners? He wants to extend & expand the Bush-era policy that alleges a lower capital gains tax rate spurs investment & job creation, but it's granted automatically without any requirements of the beneficiaries to prove they actually invested to get this entitlement. This is a big self-serving loophole if there ever was one.
You were wrong when bush tax cuts expired the poorest wage earners had to give 104 to 145 weekly !
