We stayed there 20 years ago when it was a Hilton. Marvelous view of the Vatican. It may be on the outskirts of Rome, but we walked all the way to the Colosseum and back. Can’t wait to go back!

How did you use Hilton points and get the fine hotel and resorts perks from the Amex platinum card? I thought you had to book through the Amex travel portal to get those perks.

Thanks for sharing the experience! Super useful cause I am about to travel there in a few months. Just wondering if I would have access to the SPA if I'm redeeming a free night certificate from Aspire card. I do have diamond status (also fron aspire lol) but im not sure if the SPA access is free for paid stays only.
