#CriticalRole #ExandriaUnlimited #Episode1 - Zábava
If you aren't already done with Calamity, I highly encourage you to watch the Calamity Wrap Up show as well.
The cast and Brennan just sit down and discuss how they put the campaign together to start and their thought process throughout it. Highly entertaining .
vespin chloras wasnt trying to summon the matron, vespin was trying to ascend like the matron. remember “when the matron ascended (to becoming a god) we instantly knew that there was a new god of death” if the matron was a new god of death what happened to the previous god of death, they dont even name that previous god. and if vespin didnt succeed in ascending as there is no knowledge of a new god…what happened to him?
Cerrit's investigation into the strange disappearence of Vespin Chloras is the first snowflake (well third, if you count Laerynn's Apogee soltice ambitions and Xexis's terrifying nightmares of strange beings and his dead husband.) all slowly settling that prefigures the avalanche that sweeps into a valley. Every tiny, fragile, step closer and closer to ...Calamity.
Hey love the rections to Calamity so far! To give you some consolation, as a long time avid Critter myself who watched this series live; a LOT of the info being dumped in this mini series was brand new to everyone watching at the time that this first aired. We knew very little about the Age of Arcanum and the coming of the Calamity prior to this seried. Avalir was an entirely new location being introduced to us here and this was all of our first in depth look (and currently still our only look, athough thats about to change on July 11th 😉) into any of the eras of time prior to the "modern day" Exandria that the main CR campaigns take place in. So dont worry too much about not knowing what things are, it is a huge lore dump, but nobody knew what most of the terms and names being slung around during this were either. And of course anything that is of upmost importance to this particular story gets further explained as we go along.
Worth mentioning that Brennan consulted heavily with Matt about the history of Exandria to get background info about what to do with this.
"The Matrons ritual" refers to the way the Matron of Ravens got her job as the god of death. Which is different from how all the other gods came into being and might b explained later, who knows 🎉❤
This just showed up in my recommendations and I'm so glad it did. Watched all three of these reaction videos this far and am excited to see how you respond to what's coming. I love how thoughtful your response is, really getting into the details of what is some incredibly dense storytelling.
I know others have told you a little bit about Brennan and Lou and Dimension 20, but I want to further reiterate how well worth viewing they are.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm happy that you enjoy my content and I appreciate all of your support. I'll catch you in the next one and I'll be sure to look into other content as well from the cast
Celestial is the language of the "Upper Planes" (like the Heavens, its Angel Language), and Infernal is the language of the "Lower Planes" (like the Hells, so Devil Language).
The weird part is that they were both present in the same ritual, despite being representative of essentially opposite cosmic forces.
Loving the reactions, this is some of the best CR content there is! GG Calamity
Level 14 isn’t maxed out stats but you’re right noticing that it’s pretty high for all of them. However, Travis is a rogue, who has expertise. So he gets to double his proficiency bonus (and add his intelligence modifier) to an investigation roll. At level 14, a proficiency bonus is a +5, so if he has an intelligence score of 20 (usually the max unless you have specific magic items), his investigation would be +15.
Oh, also, Travis was a barbarian in campaign 1 and a Hexblade Warlock in campaign 2.
Level 14 is pretty high level. A majority of campaigns start at levels 1-3 and can go for as long as the players and DM all agree to play together, but in most cases, they either finish the story they're telling, or unfortunately get too busy with their real lives before hitting the higher levels like 15-20. Unfortunately, very few campaigns reach that high a level.
Yay Exandria calamity 🎉
Hell yeah! Something fun to watch 😊
Told you you wouldn't have to wait too long lol. It's a bit shorter than the other parts but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. Again, thanks for your support.
Watching you react to this mini-series is fun. Your volume levels for the first 2 videos were great but for whatever reason the CR audio level was greatly lowered for this video. I have to raise the volume level to almost the max to hear the CR actors but then my ears are killed when you speak. So I have to lower the volume level where your audio level is okay, but then the CR audio level is quite quiet. The audio levels for the first two videos were fine, so I'm not sure what happened.
Noted. I'll take care of that this time. Thanks for the feedback and support!
There's no way that the Scythe should be operating at the very edges of its economic capacity. No eff-in' way. Nydas has Scythe money in something off the books for sure.
Sure, but Lou did make it sound like he was moving some accounts payable back. Maybe he just didn't want to touch those other moneys.
@@elbruces That's what I just said makes no sense to be the case.
*ME:* There's no way that the Scythe should be operating at the very edges of its economic capacity.
*YOU:* _"Ah but have you considered the possibility that the Scythe is operating at the very edges of its economic capacity?"_
*ME:* ... ... ...YES. 🤨
