Kingfisher opening its mouth wide twice

This White-throated kingfisher opened its beak really wide twice presumably to stretch it. It also kept its beak partially opened which allows the surrounding hot air to evaporate the water in its wet mouth, this helps keep it cool through evaporative cooling (just like when we sweat).
