Thanks! The multilevels are illuminated but this was recorded on a DC layout so the train generally isn't going fast enough for the lights to be fully illuminated.
Those Atlas NJT multilevels are also the most troublesome coaches of my fleet too! One always seem to derail on a curve and im trying to fix it. Any advice on how you got yours working?
Try adjusting the metal pickups for the interior lighting on the bogies. I noticed they tend to get stuck in the car body, jamming the bogie and causing the carriage to derail.

I had the same issue. I just loosened the screw and the turned much easier and no more derailing.
